did savanger forfeit when shaggy2dope was subbed in week 2? what they did week 2 was illegal and clear grounds to actually disqualify savanger from TWL altogether since they already had a previous warning (useless one at that). i think what rasaq is saying is that why even allow squads to make that mistake? an obvious one here can be made if Fierce adds Casket on February 9th thinking he has served his 1 week delay without realizing the actual date for his return should be February 16. being more proactive from staffs end wouldn't hurt. it would avoid useless appeals and more work from staffs end. should just add players to the twl roster when they are actually eligible to play to avoid problems. all rasaq is trying to do here is avoid future issues that would cause problems for you guys but you guys are taking offense to it for some reason. nobody tarnishes staffs "reputation" more than staff itself. chill the fuk out mudafukas.

Yeah seems like you are doing a great job. Casket doesn't even know why hes sitting out ^. This is exactly what I mean. Do not assume people understand the rules because the rules are horrible to begin with. Its your job to clarify these things and when such threads are made its your job to address the issues instead of showing an attitude. Lets clarify. It's not casket's job to know, as he is not even able to add himself or anyone else. It is the repsonsibility of the captain to add lineups and know who can or can not play. If he should choose to investigate, he would quickly find out he can not play. I do not care how many people do not know if he or she or anyone else is ineligible unless they need to know. Please feel free to spread the news to anyone else who does or does not need to know. I have done my job along with the rest of the TWL ops by informing those who need to be informed. I have, and so has Ricko, already explained what is going on as far as eligibility is concerned in this forum in regards to the matter at hand. He can not play in week 4 of TWL. If he does, Fierce will forfeit. Captains are aware of his ineligibility. I have not opposed anything besides your idiotic babble of useless chatter. I do not know how to make myself any more clear. He is INELIGIBLE. For your laziness, I will post why, in case you can not read any of the 4 or 5 posts already stating what I am stating now. As casket joined after the round cutoff and before the hardlock, he will be able to play round 5 and after. Thanks for your concerns.
3.05c Waiting Period
The Standard Waiting Period for roster
eligibility goes as follows: Any player joining a squad for participation in
Trench Wars League (this includes changing names), will be subject to a 1 Round
Waiting Period after being accepted by the squad Captain. Players will not be
eligible to participate in Trench Wars League matches until a round occurs in
which the player cannot play (Example: Players joining the Tuesday after round 3
will not be allowed to play in any games until round 5). Saturday 1PM EST is the
start of the next round.
3.07 Hard Lock
All Trench Wars League rosters will experience a hard lock after the last Round 3 match. This means that no more roster additions will be allowed.

Take your fat fingers and put them on your mouse. Scroll up and you will see how your question was answered 5x now. I clarified to casket when he asked, and we told you and rasaq when you asked. I do not care what you think of my attitude as I have done everything required in the situation. Do you have any more concerns on the matter or do you want to just concede?

Cres, the rules have not changed in years regarding softlock/hardlock, why this is an issue with 10+ year vets now is beyond me.

Both myself and Tiny stated in our first posts that Casket would have to sit out the next round of TWL, which does answer the question originally posed.

How you can say Rasaq's opening post wasn't meant as a kick in the teeth to TWL staff bewilders me.

It is the TWL squad captains responsibility to know who is eligible for their squad and who isn't, and as far as I'm aware the Fierce captains knew this. Our job is to administrate the league and warn captains that they have added a non-eligible player to the match when added (we don't have a crystal ball, who knows if Casket is even going to be added to a match?) We cannot be expected to spoon feed and tell every single player whether they can or cannot play each week - we have rules stated on the TWL site and if people need to ask then they can simply do a ?help call or find one of us in game. Having a snotty post from someone who isn't even the player in question on the forums gets us no where.
