dicE vs Value
15:00 – 3:30
Dice Lineup:
Stayon(terr), Dwopple/a2m(sharks), Jamal/kess/wbm/Zizu(spiders), megaman89(jav)
Value Lineup:
Waxy(terr), Commando/War(sharks), Burnt/dice/renzi/Ricko/schope(spiders)
dicE took an early lead in this game and never looked back; they easily walked over Value without much effort. Stayon jumped into the red ship and demonstrated his versatility, a2m and dwopple continued to hone their dominance as one of the better shark pairs in the league (a2m racked up a notable 47 kills). Jamal owned it up and was backed up with good performances by the rest of the dicE spiders of kess, wbm, and Zizu. megaman89 was unstoppable. While the rest of dicE kept Value busy megaman was able to setup virtually any shot he wanted. Value simply had no answer for dicE’s overwhelming teamwork and prowling jav assassin. The value shark timing was often disrupted and this gave dicE all the advantage they needed to win the game.
Hot of the Game – megaman98; impressive 7 terrier kills, the most terrier kills this season
Not of the Game – renzi; he sucked (figuring I’ll go ahead and also jump on the flame renzi bandwagon)

Dudgeon vs. Fierce
15:00 – 00:05
Dudgeon Lineup:
Mikkiz(terr), Downfall/nokkonen(sharks), gilder/Leitz/micke/sakke/zizzo(spiders)
Fierce Lineup:
Mythrandir/diakka(terr), diakka/LF/Murder(sharks), Apok/Last Standing/Mean Gene/Ri$e Again$t/tj hazuki/tomatospiders(spiders)
Wow. Don’t get me wrong Dudgeon has some skills; but wtf Fierce? All you needed was some minutes in this game to get into playoffs, you didn’t even need to win it. But after an anemic opening flag room battle you couldn’t manage more than 5 seconds? I don’t even think that you guys got back into the flag room (maybe once or twice for a few seconds?). Talk about an epic failure. First put diakka in either a spider or terrier him entire game. Try a special or something; obviously what you were doing wasn’t working after the first 5 minutes.
Dudgeon played well, Mikkiz looked to be in his groove. Downfall and nokkonen had no problems man-handling Fierce, they showed good timing in holding cram for long periods. Micke lead the Dudgeon spiders with the most kills and good pushing. Sakke and gilder also did some good pushing and pretty much had their way with Fierce terrier.
Hot of the Game – Micke/Mikkiz; both played outstanding
Not of the Game – Fierce team; wow, just wow

Pandora vs. Enemy
15:00 – 6:35
Game of The Week
Pandora Lineup:
VA(terr), Mattey/zidane(sharks), Cape/dreamwin/Ease/Hulk/mcvicar/Solace/Turban(spiders)
Enemy Lineup:
Cintra(terr), porkjet/cranium(sharks), Ayn/Kate Upton/M_M God/trance/skatarius/Trasher(spiders)
Crosstown #33. That is the name of the bus that Pandora was driving when they took Enemy to school. Enemy simply looked bad in this game, they were never in the game from the beginning. Enemy looked dazed and confused; an undefeated season went down the drain and they really opened themselves up to question for the playoofs.
Since I committed to write this shit every week I follow a simple process. I open a log file and PM myself as I watch the game. This works out pretty well since I not only save my comments for review but also capture other people’s comments for game context. In reviewing this game I kept coming back to the same theme, a breakdown in Enemy’s sharking. Pandora was constantly able to take advantage of Enemy being sharkless for a just few seconds; this then lead to Enemy spiders being back on their heels and unable to get any kind of advantage. Cintra did what he could in trying to keep his team well positioned but it wasn’t enough. Skatarius was subbed out after being unable to make an impact under.
Enemy missing shark timing was subtle, it is not like Cran and Pork are bad sharks. But when playing a team of Pandora’s caliber it was more than enough. Mattey and zidane fully exploited this weakness and were able to give their team all the openings they needed to own it up. Dreamwin was a machine this game although Ease, hulk and mcvicar also laid down outstanding performances.
Hot of the Game – Dreamwin/mattey,zidane; good game
Not of the Game – porkjet/cranium/skatarius; can’t play like that against a team like Pandora

Revenge vs. Warhable
15:00 – 3:43
Revenge Lineup:
Hydride(terr), menelvagor/rodney(sharks), Eelam/hellkite/Megalo/squallFF8/zeebu(spiders)
Warhable Lineup:
choi(terr), Machine of God/nanto/Willby(sharks), godZero/JammyJames/Jatt/nanto/shaddowknight/thewadorooster(spiders)
Revenge brought it this week and easily beat the underdog (but crowd favorite) Warhable. Revenge bettered Warhable at every ship position. Rodney/menelvagor outplayed the Warhable sharks and Hydride delivered a solid game. Megalo, Eelam, hellkite, squall, and zeebu outkilled the Warhable spiders by a very large margin.
Warhable seemed to have some lineup issues and did not look sharp this week when they really needed it. Nanto did not play well in the shark position and did little better in spider. Not sure why Warhable could not carry some of their momentum from the win last week to make this more of a game, perhaps some of them can respond and fill us in.
Hot of the Game – Megalo/hellkite; solid game
Not of the Game – Godzero/Shaddow; negged bad
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hot of the week – megaman98; shooting more fish in the barrel
Honorable mention: Dreamwin/mattey,zidane; these three guys probably could have beaten Enemy by themselves
Not of the week – Fierce; way to blow playoff chances
Honorable mention: Enemy; way to blow an undefeated season
15:00 – 3:30
Dice Lineup:
Stayon(terr), Dwopple/a2m(sharks), Jamal/kess/wbm/Zizu(spiders), megaman89(jav)
