  • Season 18: TWLJ Official Hot or Not - Week 7

    Dudgeon vs Pandora
    32 - 50

    Dudgeon Lineup:
    gilder, mikkiz, nokkonen, sakke, Zizzo

    Dice Lineup:
Dreamin, Ease, fram (subbed out), Steadman, tanzu (subbed in),Tsunami, turban (subbed out)

This game didnt vary far from what it should have been. Dudgeon started off hanging tough the Pandora as pandora couldnt seem to get their grasp on the game while turban attempted to play. Turban lagged out in the first couple of minutes a few times, allowing dudgeon to stay with them. A quick sub turns the game around as pandora begins to push the underwhelming dudgeon around the map despite their wall of bullets. Steadman tossed pandora on his back and carried them all the way home. Once pandora got 5 players in the game, pandora began to pick apart dudgeon and setting up Steadman to finish them off as he cruised his way to a season high of 16 kills for the rookie. This game never got close after the 3 minute mark as pandora triumphs, clenching a spot in the playoffs and assuring dudgeon's season ends at week 7.

Hot of the game: Steadman 16-6

Not of the game: Sakke 4-10

    Fierce vs Value
    Game of the Week
    50 - 43

    Fierce Lineup:
24, Broseph, Mean Gene, Shock Therapy, Tiny

    Value Lineup:
    amnesti, Commodo, Infrared, Solske, Spawnisen

This game was fantastic and also recorded. You can watch it again via the forums. #1 Value taking on #2 fierce and this game was close to the end. Fierce started off with a small lead and kept it the entire game. Fierce lead by 24/broseph started the charge in the first part of the game. Fierce with a small lead in a big game, took advantage of a struggling solske. Solke getting into early trouble found himself being chased around the map the entire first half of the game. Fierce successfully takes solske out giving them the 5v4 advtange to go with their lead. Shock therapy though, found himself in the same boat about 1 minute later as he was spawned out in the early stages of the games. 4v4 with fierce in the lead by only a few, this game was nothing but trading deaths as value, lead by commodo, did all he could to keep it close. Fierce with the lead is able to team out 2 more value players, leaving commodo and amnesti left to fend for themselves. Commodo makes a last note worthy play as he 2fers 2 fierce players and kills tiny out making it 3v2 with a hope of life, but subsequently is chased down killed out still down a player. Amnesti left 3v1 is quickly dispatched by fierce who claims the #1 spot.

    Hot of the Game: 24 - 19 - 7

    Not of the Game: Solske - 5 - 10

    Juans vs Revenge
    44 - 50

    Juans Lineup:
Darkstrike, Fiora, Nowyoudie, Roiwerk, Scuzzy Sureshot

    Revenge Lineup:
    Cross, Eelam, Marge, Rendered, zeebu

Another good game this week as two teams try and battle it out for 5th and 6th postition in the playoff spots. Revenge not wanting that 6th spot, show their best lineup they've shown all season. The game starts out with revenge taking control early as darkstrike shows himself as the weak spot for Juans. Darkstrike proving himself to be a game changing sub, but can't quite cut it as a starter, does everything he can to stay in the game, but is a complete non factor. Revenge pushes Juans around with their agressive play lead by Marge as Juans try to protect Darkstrike. Revenge puts out darkstrike out early into the game despite Juans best efforts and begins to take over the arena with the advantage, but playing into Juans strengths as begin blindly rushing into Juans. Juans down a man, begin to fall one at a time to the team rush of revenge and leave roiwerk along yet again. Roiwerk puts on a good show, but not enough to overcome the deficit Darkstrike left them in.

    Hot of the Game: Marge - 13 - 8

    Not of the Game: Darkstrike - 3 - 10

    Dice vs Enemy
    50 - 36

    Dice Lineup:
a2m (subbed out), Evildeed, kess (subbed in), maketso, Stayon, Zizu

    Enemy Lineup:
    Biet, Cranium, Revered, skatrius, Trasher

Dice vs the newcomer to TWLJ enemy turned out to be a better game than the score indicates. Dice plays a few new faces, not really worried about playing enemy, but to their surprise Enemy starting off strong lead by revered jump out to a small and short lived lead. The game stays close and maketso strives for an ace, killing anything that comes in his path, while revered holds enemy together as they fall behind by a couple but not out of it. a2m gets subbed out by kess, which seems to give dice a small boost as they start to pull away from enemy. Dice takes a 7 point lead as they knock out cranium early, who is shortly accompanied by biet. 5v3 with enemy struggling to stay in it, dice then quickly put outs revered who was enemy's only hope for a comeback. Left 5v2, the two struggling players flounder around until Dice kills them out as well.

Hot of the game: Maketso 11 - 1

Not of the Game: Cranium 5 - 10 and going out first and early

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hot of the week: 24 - 19 - 7
    Honorable mentions: Steadman 16-6 / maketso 11 - 1

Not of the week: Darkstrike 3-10
    Dishonorable Mentions: Cranium 5 - 10 / Solske - 5 - 10 / Skatarius 4 - 10
