If you look at my LB Votes for example you will see that I voted for a number of Pandora players that did not make the all star game, including yourself in shark. Because when it comes down to it voting is about giving a personal opinion, on who is playing well etc regardless of whether you think the person is a complete turd. Everyone puts in a vote, votes get counted and roster is made. Why dispute it and act like a retard here Zidane? Why encourage your players to do it? Good example of how petty and useless you are.

One common theme you will see in my posts is I don't like most of your squad. So when I see your squaddies whining, crying, trolling on the boards like they do in the game, I have no problem pointing out how retarded they are.
Pandora's an "embarrassment" to Trench Wars. Like members out of the blue pming people "I am a three league champion blah blah blah - I am on Pandora u suck" . 3 league champion in a league that's garbage? Where we have a mere 12 active TWL squads lol.

At a time when the leagues are in the worst place they have been in years, its important to look at two of the reasons: Pandora (thunder remake + some talented players like Myth) and a depleted sad looking dice squad - meganerd on vacation.

Same stagnant group of vets who contribute very little to the game in the form of entertainment or genuine competition. The leagues a joke at the moment, because most people don't give a dam about it. Take the same so called premier squads of twl and fill them over capacity with crappy-mediocre players/trashtalkers like zidane, beam, vatican assassin, Steadman and what's left is a league that's a joke.

you really need to see the error of your ways and understand what went wrong with this, tiny. there's no point being ignorant. it was a valiant effort by you to attempt to run an all-star event all by yourself. it's a shame that this failed, but if you don't make mistakes, you won't make anything. there are times when you can only learn by trial and error; although this time you just needed to think about this for a bit longer before starting the votes. if you had the resources and support from staff then there was plenty of ways to properly run this all-star event and perhaps making it a great match. hopefully you'll have a better luck next time if you decide to try this again.

you really should have picked a different voting system. there was a fair bunch of players that got undeservingly benched from this match due to various reasons which resulted this all-star match becoming a laughing matter. without a doubt there was a lot of things that could have been done better, such as the voting system requiring a complete rework. nevertheless, if we want to have an all-star event to happen in the future then we should just come up with ideas to improve the selection process rather than crying about everything. we can lead a horse to water, but we can't make him drink. it'll be up to the next guy to decide how he wants to host this event.

it goes without saying that most of our league players and spectators do not actively use these forums. there's almost no reason to have a voting thread if most of our active forum users do not have up-to-date knowledge about the of players; there was a lot of biased voting based on the accomplishments of a player from previous season(s). instead we could have used a voting system with polls in game, moderated by the trench wars league ops while utilizing our powerful bots. votes should be on a weekly basis and we could reward the voters with public cash. while this may sound simple, it would be a lot of work to make it run properly. there would be a lot of restrictions you would have to make (e.g. no voting on your own squad, only allowing twd registered players to vote) and it would need to be properly advertised along with certain criterias and rules.

pardon my curiosity, but i would love to know which players from our squad actually does this. it's the first time i've heard anything about this.

also while i'm on this topic, i would like to remind you that twl is still in a fairly good state. there's a bunch of teams capable of winning a title in each league, with TWLJ being the most competitive one featuring four strong teams. there's only one reason why twl is slowly losing its flair and that is because there are way too many "filler" teams prolonging the season.

twl should be more exclusive. less teams, shorter seasons, more competition. it's killing the zone to have a three week waiting period from regular season to semi-finals.

If an ‘All Star’ feature is desirable (and I am not that sure that this is true but nonetheless) than there are several things that need to be addressed.
Here is a short list of the largest potential issues;
- Lack of participation
- Participation of people who are clueless
- It becomes just a popularity contest
- Being held at the end of the season it tends to ignore early season performances

Here is a possible solution. We have some decent amount of people speccing during the actual games throughout the season. These are the people who are in the best position to judge, at the end of each game they have just watched, who contributed to their team. By polling them at the end of each game, and then compiling the results of the entire season, you would have a much better handle on a true list of ‘All Stars’.

It would be nice if we could only allow each game ending poll to be taken by those who watched at least half the game or more. Obviously other details would also have to be worked out; and the polls themselves would have to be easy to take and not involved a bunch of menu navigation. Perhaps an animated poll based upon ship type for TWLB? At game end a poll comes up that says, ‘Voting now open for best two spiders. Only people who were in spec for at least 10 minutes will be able to respond. Select the two best spiders from the following list. ’ This would then be followed with one for terrier, then one for sharks. Of course the TWLD and TWLJ would be easier.
