Im on a posting roll..... Are we doing anything for this season's all stars? just curious

All-Star Weekend is going to be during the replay weekend with TWLDM making a return after the matches have been finished. Voting of the all-star players will start after Round 5 matches have finished. You can vote with in-game messages or by using the forums to submit your vote. Players that have played at least one match are eligible to be voted. More information about the All-Star Weekend will be available at a later date.

what's the criteria/stipulations for voting on people? such as no voting for squaddies...how many votes...etc etc...and 1 match played? that's got to be a joke as you can not get a medal with one match played. I would assume that rule would be changed or updated?

all-star weekend is still up for discussion, but we might actually change the voting criteria slightly to account the game points of players and say, you need a minimum of 6.00 points in that league to be eligible to be voted on.

of course, you would not be able to vote on your squad mates, and all-star teams could have a maximum of 2/3 players (depending on the league) per team. we have yet to make the final decisions, but more information will be given in the upcoming weeks.

they can fuck around all they want, it will be clearly said what the criteria is going to be to be eligible to be voted on, and it will be monitored closely.

we have yet to decide on the date; it might be either on thanksgiving weekend (although likely to not be), replay weekend of TWLJ/TWLB or some other day.

Maybe use the medal player points system to weed out players for the all star voting. Just a thought.

Also, maybe use the same functionality as they used for pub suggestions. Add a link with players to pick....only allow people to vote with their twd registered name (probably have to manually tell if they were registered, but I doubt you will have tons to sort through). Then sort through and take votes which would probably add to the number of people participating due to people being too lazy for forums. Just another thought.
