Remover res limit

2016 folks get with the times, no one bitched when twdt had no res limits and that is the reason why it should be removed so people can play full screen on a 2d game without having 2 window mode

Yea..the TWJD spawn line wasn't adjusted either. TWLB also didn't have the cram blocks removed, nor it changed from points to time, nor the spawn time raised to 5 seconds instead of 3 seconds.

The wb res limit, also didn't contribute at all, for dozens and dozens of steam newbies and returning people (most preferred wb) to say "Do I really need to change res?" "This is gay, fuck this." Hope you guys have their emails..

Another old ass dogma, that the surviving 10 wbs on the game insist on not changing in 20-fucking-16. Adapt to the times you dinossaurs. Or do like me, who uses a 1280x1024 lately for wb against people with 2k res, instead of my usual smaller res, give no fucks and still do somewhat good.

Basicly, another weak minded excuse for the ones being so resistant to change. Just like lag and a shitload of others.

this reminds me though: anyone have problems with windows 10 and continuum? pavement can only play windowed and can't choose any resolutions. does he need to get that "resizer" app or w/e?

I don't want to win twld if it means beating 'ease' on 800x600 if i'm using 2048x1536 myself. Higher res gives you an advantage. End of discussion.

I have replied to these threads for over 5 years now and I don't care anymore if you want to use a higher res, that's fine with me. I'm "merely" asking to put a limit in there somewhere like 1920x1080 or something...

There was no res-limit in pub, elim and every twd arena except for twdd and twdd2. you're telling me you talked to a steam newbie, got him to signup to a squad and then to twd only to have him quit because of "res-limit". Also, returning players would have been using 1280x1024 as that has been in place since before twl season 3 (?)

10 wbs hold the entire zone hostage and refuse to play if the res-limit is raised. Nothing better to prove your worth in LD by beating 1280x1024 with 2560x1600

AvK: 248/22 = 11.27
D: 119
AvD: 119/22 = 5.409
AvKDR: 2.08

Your second set of numbers yielded this:
Games: 30
K: 358
AvK: 358/30 = 11.93
D: 211
AvD: 211/30 = 7.033
AvKDR: 1.696

First stats are LaSenza with 1920 res, second is me with 1680. If you want to you can even throw 'dreamwin's twdtd stats in there as the only reason he did good. The point here is that you can throw in any kind of statistic to "prove" a point.

But experience is a constant.

If it's anything like Win 7 (don't have Win 10), don't install Continuum in the default program files (x86) location and make Windows run Continuum as moderator (right click on Continuum.exe, click properties, click 'compatibility' and click on 'run this program as moderator'). Not sure that'll help but worth a shot.

Don't want to get into the discussion but ran into same problem. The solution was going into video card settings for me nvidia and playing with the physx settings for display and virtual settings.
Bottom line is really big res gives you more time to dodge.
Smaller is better for base.

If its about something else I remember on a old squad to get in you had to hit a member in pub just using your radar 5 times.
Res is good for dodge but doesnt replace good radar use.
Small was good because thats how the game was made and gives everyone the same to work with.
Dont personally care if its big or small thats up to people who still play. Just know the pros and cons of what your arguing for.
