TWL Hard lock Past Sunday

Hello everyone, (please read careful hard grammar going on here)

About TWL hard lock time. I left Dynasty past Sunday and I tried to join Lego but I wasn't able until Monday.

I left Dynasty because people was not showing up Sundays for games (sorry Wreck but you should stop smoking for your own safe).

TWL roster was already locked and I know maybe an OP said "oh that why we made the rules", but don't you understand

that you are making TWL impossible to play. for me a player should get locked once he plays first game after preseason.

SAD but true (by Metallica). I don't think this is a good way to keep TWL going on, but it is OK if you guys want this thing to die.

Two games per week and lock roster doing it this way? really?

Preseason ends real quick and a lot of moves going on with player inside squads. It is dumb because if one or two main players are not going to

show up one Sunday most likely you lose both games. Hard lock was past Sunday and we have this weekend off because of 4th July? why didn't wait until this Sunday?

We locked roster but next game is after two weeks? my English might not make any sense but this rule neither.......

If there is any good OP out there could you please help?

Guero tried to join us but couldn't due to the fukup we had with the testing of new TWD bot also. So we couldn't add him on roster on time. Should look into this and allow him to join TWL roster aswell.

TWDBot was never down. Thus all registering and singing up was available. There was nothing stopping anyone from getting into (TWD) rosters.

I'm afraid you will not be allowed to join LEGO on the TWL roster as you left Dynasty after hardlock was in effect and were not joined to the LEGO TWL roster before hardlock started.

If you really are desperate to play and want to improve the quality of the league, we will consider allowing you to re-join the Dynasty roster, as long as the captains agree to have you back.

Idk Mark, seems kinda harsh. He did leave Dynasty on Sunday and then joined Lego just after hardlock. I think you should reconsider your point since he could make LD with Lego even more entertaining for playoffs. Just my thoughts.

Is the game really in a position to be a meritocracy denying player's who want to play on the basis that they left a squad under poor circumstances?

He tried to join a non-contender in TWLD the day of the lock -- it makes no difference to Cobra, Force, Thunder, and Dice, and the world of difference to LEGO. I remember capping Paladen S15 and they were equally unsympathetic in letting Shayde join our TWLB one hour after lock -- it would have been a huge boon to us, and affected absolutely nothing for the top basing squads.

A good warbird like Guero being in TWL and helping LEGO is a win for the league, and he barely missed the cutoff. I would let him join.

3.07 Hard Lock
All Trench Wars League rosters will experience a hard lock after the last Round 6 match. This means that no more roster additions will be allowed.

Was only round 3??????????????.

Change/fix the rules on TWL website, lots of players go off those rules.

Clearly Guero, went off TWL.Trenchwars.org 's rules.

Not everyone goes on fourms often to know u guys change the fkn rules every year.



Since TWL is having a Bi-week, You should consider letting squad's/Caps fix their rosters, during this time.

1# Just allow "NO TWL squad hopping at this point". ex: If I left Force, I wouldn't be allowed to join/play for any other TWL roster.

2#Only allow players who are Currently NOT on a TWL roster to join.

3# Give them til Thursday July 7.

I think this would be beneficial, and should be taken advantage of. Nothing but positive could come out it. There are a few squads that could use a roster boost!
