Hot or Not Playoffs Round 3
Thunder Vs Dice
Dice 50-45 Thunder Round 1
Dice entered the game with their A line. They ment buisness expecting the worst and facing a dominating Ease, and a deadly vys.
The only problem was for Thunder, Ease and Vys weren't there. Instead were Zidane and Ogron, Basing and Javelin experts but were they up for a fight?
Yes they were, Infact Thunder kept Dice close all round till about 40 kills a piece then Space God and Ro fizzled out with 10 deaths, Weak fought on hard and was filling in for Ease being the anchor man but himself Zidane and Ogron couldn't account for the losses of Space God and Ro.I think this is where competitiveness shows rather than pure warbird skill, the experience of Ogron and Zidane in their respective leagues gave them more of a edge than the raw talent of Space God and Ro in a warbird.
2pacz dominated the early game for Dice but then fluffed up what could have been a epic score and settled for a respectable 13-10 where this cleared the path for the very modest and fountain of joy Raazi to clean up the game and settle the round with a 15-8.
Dice 50-33 Thunder Round 2
This game wasn't as close as round 1 and this was how everyone was expecting the first round itself to be especially since Ease was absent.
Raazi, Racka and Mythril leading the charge. Best was not at his best, but still didn't let the team down and he will be saving his strength for the finals.
Thunder will be enjoying a weeks rest also and preparing to face Cobra Or Force with Ease returning hopefully for this tie.
Hots
Raazi 13-5
Nots
Space god 5-10 7-10 Meh not the end of the world, but someones gotta be not
Cobra Vs Lego
Shit a lego brick theres a big ass Cobra over there! with a ginger quiff
Cobra 50-38 Lego Round 1
Cobra were missing some starters, so we saw Jones fill the gap and Tripin and Turban get anouther whirl after their somewhat dodgy matches last week. Lego were at full strength with their lineup of Joemoma, Axwell, Legionofboom, Rival, Murder and Solemn you would have felt they were up for this...
Not really... Cobra took the round and Turban once again putting in a great first round with a 15-10, Captain Britain Ricko putting up 12-8 while the rest of Cobra held evens.
Lego laggots cost them round 1 as Rival was subbed out with Solemn only to lag out twice and end up with a very unhelpful 3-7. Axwell fought well and kept his concentration to end up 13-10 dispite the loss.
Round 2 Cobra 50-33 Lego
Lego with their confidence smashed from round 1 due to lagouts had little fight left in them.
Joemoma couldn't get any kills with a 2-10, Axwell's form didn't repeat round 2 and finished with a 5-10, Murder and Solemns seasons had come to a end with a 7-10 and a 9-10 and Geios 10-10 chance to prove he could win without being in Fierce went up in flames.
For Cobra Kentaro 13-3 and Absent 14-7 winning the round effortlessly, as they look to bring their guns on Force for the next round
Joemoma will be kicking himself for his 2-10 but people must remmeber he turned Lego from a rock bottom twdd ladder squad into a squad which pulled off some shock results agaist good teams and was argubly the top squad outside the top 4 squads. He should leave with his head held high, and look at improving his individual talent so he can pick up the pieces where his team falls down.
Lego you have played well but you are now the weakest link good bye.
Hots
Turban 15-10, 11-10
Kentaro 13-3
Solemn and Murder for a fine season and were the core of lego, if lego won a game these guys weren't far behind.
Nots
Joemoma 7-10 2-10
Rival 1-3
Force Vs Paladen
Force 50-35 Paladen Round 1
Paladen started out much the same as Lego, Rtallen stalling at start getting subbed with 0-3 and Up in ya !! getting subbed in ending up lagging out and leaving arena at least for 30 seconds to a minute sound familiar? . With Forces combined rush 4v5 really doesn't hold up for Paladens who major weakness is close range dog fights. Force saw Olde have a whirl in warbird which is nice, but the true star was Skepsis this round with a 16-7 closely followed by Iron survivor 11-7
Force 50-29 Paladen Round 2
Force crushing Paladen under a whirlwind of Lag, skill and pure ruthlessness put down Paladen for the last time this season. Iron Survivor, Attacks, Cres and Siaxis all bearing their teeth. Paladen couldn't reply and wouldn't have to as they are now out of TWL.
Like lego they have been no push over all season, they have played well, and like Joemoma, Jebass has to be given credit for season after season bringing togethor a lineup that always try's its best and always shows, I feel that the freedom of not having Jessup has made Jebass and Paladen stronger this season. Great season guys and go with dignity. If this is truly the last Twl you will be remmebered as the squad who was always there.
