Tonight (July 1), a very special event took place on Pallies Radio:
THE PALLIES RADIO NINTENDO CHALLENGE
Here is how it worked - I played various old school video game songs in their techno and rock remixed forms. The listeners would then guess what the game corresponding to the song was, and the first one to get the game correct got a point (not too incredibly complicated, i know).
Gary Coleman was also there.
Over 40 people participated, yet only 3 earned the right to be known as HUGE VIDEO GAME DORKS.
These 3 are as follows:
1. Dameon Angell - nearly dominated the entire competition, clearly spent his time playing Battletoads while other children played outside
2. Stupid-Gerbil - Goibz managed to snag 2nd place by getting quite possibly the hardest one right - Golden Axe.
3. brain fart - Never in the lead, but always a solid contender/geek.
Tomorrow night the 2nd annual Pallies Radio Nintendo Challenge will be held. Will King Dorknuts (Dameon) be dethroned? Will Stupid-Gerbil manage to escape his evil latino captors. Will eRad manage to get A SINGLE FUCKING POINT THE ENTIRE TIME?
All that and more tomorrow night on Pallies Radio at 7 P.M. EST.
