seriously with some people retiring and some people inactive I hope I can get 5 players for the match against -solstice-. I love the rosterlock, gives me great oppurtunity to keep the squad oiled.

not a valid argument, you knew when the roster lock was comming and the implications of it. don't try to use it as a scapegoat.

and personally, with school going on during the times that some of you are proposing, i'm not a fan of giving up my two days off to dedicate to leagues.

if you can't play during the summer you can't play, but twl is going on fine as is right now without you.

why should something that works for the majority of a population be changed because people want MORE days off in their summer.

if i miss a game i miss a game, but whatever, i have other things to do.

i'm more surprised that euro players like yourself, bram, aren't petitioning for games that aren't on saturday nights? oh well.

two days? more like 2/3 hours. my problem is that i have to go home to go play some games and then go back out again.. or go out like 3 hours later, and in summer this is more of a problem because i like to go out a lot earlier with this weather.

i think more people will be unable to come during summer than there will be that can't come cuz of canada day or independence day...

uh, i hate saterday night games, cuz i have to go out later than my friends do. sunday games are the best when i have to go to school the day after, simply because i gotta get up early next morning and won't be going out.

You do realize the primary reason for delaying for Canada Day and Independence Day was because we wouldn't have enough REFS and TWL STAFF to make sure things were run correctly right? I mean there would of been games not hosted, and if there were problems no one would of been around to address them.

Postponing leagues because its summer? laf thats ridiculous.

If you cant spare 1-3 hours on a sunday evening for a few matches then I applaud you for having a social life 24/7 but dont expect the TWL staff to change the schedule because of you.

Lets postpone every weekend someone cant make it, to make sure noone will miss out of anything.. I cant make it week 34 to 39, so please postpone those, also week 45 is bad for me, and 52 (xmas) and im not sure about next year, i bet there is a few weeks there too..

Also, my hometown is celebrating a local witchburning cermony week 32, could we please postpone that week too, since we won't have enough refs, i think they're going to it, but im not really sure..

bram, wasn't my decision to delay for canada day/the 4th of july. i got back from vacation and found out about it, and was against it.

real life goes ahead of twl. if you think that come the end of summer people cease to have any sort of weekend obligations you are mistaken.

school/sports/whatever else start up come september (in canada at least, but i'm pretty sure for most of the rest of you too). people will be more busy than they are during the lazy days of summer.

exactly lucky, and i aint fighting to POSTPONE it now, im saying after TWL is finished this season, lets Try to start it say sometime in WINTER instead of say late spring/SUMMER

and rand whast teh diff between kids in highschool and the older aged ppl playing who are outa highschool and working, they work all week and only have 2 days off during teh winter and summer, that isnt a legit arguement, winter leagues would show better attendence and be more competative in my eyes, ppl make plans to do tings in summer, and if u have a big game and ur star player has plans then u lose possibly bc he wasnt there, where as in winter taht is less likely to hapen

why not try it? it wont hurt if nething it will be the same as summer but we time and time again see squads fall apart bc there ppl are to busy during summer i believe it happend to Light last year in playoffs am i rite?
