write a report on the twlb of Pallies vs. whiterabbits, I made my notes and everything. But with hanging all day at our little artificial beach and going out at night I really don't feel like writing it
I'll tell you this though,
It was what we all hoped it would be. For a second there were talks about some of the big guns of both squads not making it, but after some delays all the jocks found their way outof the lockerroom and into the arena (erm?)
so anyway KABOOOM Pallies and whiterabbits get warped into flagroom!!! The first few minutes were interesting. Both terrs kept it safe. An early death was to be avoided at all cost. So the teams went ahead and just pinched and slapped a bit over flag. Let's call it testing each others strenghts. Soon however, things got messy. With two veteran squads like these, kicking the opponent outof flagroom isn't that easy. The game moved all over flagroom, Left, right, up, down, but the main pleasurepoint ofcourse was the FLAG. Good spidering. In the beginning whiterabbits defenatly had the edge. Great first run from Arro. Also their spideradvantage gave them that tad extra firepower to hold flag just a bit more than Pallies. PJ didn't seem to be having his day. I wouldn't say he played a bg though. rabbits' spiders just did well keeping him outof the game.
In the MIDDLE Pallies had their share of ownage too. For a long time their defense was a lot more solid than wr's. Mythrandir kept getting in like a hot naked chick through butter while Arrogance and co. had to use all their limbs to get up there inch per inch. So yes Pallies got back on their feet and even took a small lead. But not for long. with about 11 minutes on the clock (totally making that time up) whiterabbits took a firm stand in flag. Pallies kept getting half way in, but only to be pushed back out to try again. In the mean while whiterabbits built up a nice 12k lead. In a game like this, which is 90% fr-battle, getting 12k back from a team with an extra spider and a terr that can hide like Osama in the mountains isn't exactly easy pie. Still, the majority of the onlookers believed Pallies would set matters straight and take the win. But, they didn't. better yet couldn't. whiterabbits defense suddenly looked alot sturdier (the smell of victory?). With the necessary warping Mythrandir still got the job done, but only to be greeted by koan or Ezo, who'd send him and his Pallies right back to where they came from: WHY DON'T YOU SPAWN AND TRY AGAIN BITCH !!!
So instead of getting smaller, whiterabbits' lead kept getting bigger and bigger. Still a few flagroombattles but defenatly with whiterabbits on top and Pallies on their knees. Gj from pallies though, and props for sticking to their javline-up. But today (actually it was yesterday), whiterabbits were stronger.
I forgot the endscore. 120-90? If you wanna be sure check the twl-site
Gj guyz. Thx for giving me and about 100 other people a fine and intense basegame!!
Maybe I should have made the effort of getting my notes down from my room anyway...
