Who wants to get rid of roster lock for tWL???

as u can see everyong agrees roster lock is stupid, except for pallies who must have no life and always show up for TWL games and are perfect no one ever leaves them...but most normal squads as u can see this season have problems w/ ppl quiting the game and doin other such things...Camisade could possibly be alive and in Playoffs if it wasnt for roster lock, Value would have more then like 9 ppl on there roster if it wasnt for stupidness, maybe cripples could of been more competative w/o it...it messes up the league all around...if u want a competative league u cant haveh a roster lock bc some s quads are made just for winning a TWL then dissolve not for length

Roster lock is indeed necessary. Just because the most vocal people say they don't like it, doesn't necessarily mean that "everyone agrees roster lock is stupid." You saying that is like me saying "everyone agrees Cig Smoke pees sitting down." Obviously, I can't speak for everyone.

The fact of the matter is, if everyone would just chill out and not try and play "musical squads" every other weekend, it shouldn't be an issue.

You're right, Pallies don't really have an issue with this. Why is that, you ask? Well, it's partially because everyone gets along. Maybe if you put a little bit of time into working out squad issues and not being a jackass, people wouldn't jump ship. Everyone knows about the roster lock at week 5 (or, at least, everyone who reads the rules), and knows what to expect. One would think that you would get yourself situated by said week. And if you have problems after week 5? Well, you only have five more weeks, then the season ends and you can try and sort it out again. The system rewards individuals and squads who can keep it together. Why is that wrong?

I'm probably forgettin some. The point is squads should have made solid recruits before the roster lock, everyone knew about it in week -1294342. roster lock isnt stupid , it prevents people from hopping from squads who are losing alot and there maybe squads that only survived through the season because of roster lock .... if u want uor league to be a nest for squadhoppers than go play TWD where u belong

the only gripe i have against the roster lock is that this season it rewarded teamhoppers and screwed the people that did try to keep things together.... a situation which is easily fixed by amending the rules to either give an extra recruiting week to squads who are victims of mass exoduses (exodi?) or to split up the lock and have "you can't leave a squad after week 5" and "you can't recruit any new members after week 6". i personally like the 2nd option best because there is no room for op discretion or exception. and we all know, discretion is a bad thing in the wrong hands.

other than that, the intent behind the roster lock is good.

Bleh, I had something long-winded to say, and I deleted by accident. Oh, this fucking keyboard.

Anyways, I'll sum it up:

1) Colorado was kickass. Spent a lot of time hiking around Rocky Mountain National. Found out that I might be related to Rog, which is kind of freaky.

2) I'll agree that some fine tweaking might be nice for the roster lock. Throwing it out, however, is dumb. Your idea sounds interesting, I just don't understand how it would work, exactly. I'm a visual learner.
