scheduling and personel problems

Mantra accept one of my timesuggestions please.

You refuse to play sunday and you want saturday, but you only offer one f. time and dont accept mine. I think Mantra wants to win by forfeit because he knows about my personel problems.

I posted this to make sure I am unhappy about the way negotiations go and that I want to avoid the twl ops from picking a time that is definately unsuitable for egyptian.

My personel problems: (this all happened after week 5)
- 5 people retired or retired from tw: Charles Bronson, Evoce, Spawnisen, Defender, Locomotive
- 3 people got axed for being morons.
- 6 people are on vacation.
- some work on saturdays
- 7 people just left for good reasons or bad reasons: dragonscale, Z*E*R*0, killermech, shockers, another, hairygroin, lomoro
- one or two people are inactive atm, maybe vacation

19 people of my roster are not eligable for tw. My roster contains 33 people atm. Some of those people are on vacation.

All this happened after week 5. I know rosterlock is good for twl but this sux. And I couldnt forsee this. We got a good and stable group now, but we can fully operate after twl. For now I am happy if I can get 5 eligable members on a game on saturday.

If I look at diso's roster they have not so much problems as we do. Some people said it was zapata who made the difference, but when we went into twl our squad seemed stable, but I lost more than 10 potential starters. Some of egyptian players werent ready yet for twl, because they needed to get better first. Others joined after round 5 to give our squad some depth.

Also, talking about the negotiations again, we offered our first time the day that negotiations were open. Disoblige didnt have a match scheduled at that point yet, still they managed to get two games on sunday and offering us a saturday.

If thats the way you guys want to win a twl playoff match... I noticed that Cripples had some special treatment to stay alive in twl, I could use some too like making 3 members eligable or something. But I bet that wont happen. And I wont complain about that, all I want is that freaking game on sunday.

lol if twl is the thing we all moan and complain about, how about we can finish this league in a good way ? I mean some non-competitive match in playoffs would be a bit shameful, if it can be avoided.

we dont need u to forfeit in order to win ... but we do have to look out for our interests .... this means we cant play at some times becuase its too late for the ones of us who have lives ... not me tho i can show whenever

anyways, this really isn't the place for this debate. you have the right to propose time slots that you want, and diso has the right to propose time slots that they want, if you can't agree it gets assigned on thursday, this is written in the rules.

all you have done now is make the job harder on the twl ops. if they have to assign in the end and you get the time you wanted, people will be able to say "it's because you posted on the forums". if you don't get the time slot you will say "it's biased and they hate you".

people don't care about when or how your games are schedualed, please keep it in the squadleader negotiations in the future.

this isn't a problem just for you, it's not a special circumstance. games are assigned every week because people can't agree, but nobody else posts on the forums about it.

i can sympathize with you for losing players and not being able to recruit more, but at the same time, pretty much every other squad in twl can as well, it's up to you as a squad leader to deal with it. posting about it on the forums is the worst thing you can do in front of everybody else, especially your squadmembers.

think things out before you post them on the forums. . .

The reason I posted is because I think Mantra abuses the negotiations thing. He can suggest one time for saturday, while I have two times on sunday and one at saturday. Still he hasnt accepted it. TWL ops will put it on saturday because diso has two games on sunday. This means mantra gets what he wants.

I already know the game will be played on saturday, but if I cant get a decent lineup for that match people will think egyptian is dieing or something, so thats why I pointed out what happened.

And for Charles Bronson: he is such a moron. I know Roxy in real life, and charles is a friend of his. Also I have seen Charles some times in real life, but he doesnt know who I am. He wanted to join Egyptian because he wanted to be in a stable squad. But after week 5 (he got benched against Light) he refused to play TW because he thought the zone sucked. Last week we got into a fight about him not showing up anymore and I announced he would kicked off roster if he wouldnt show up. So he left. And after two months of not being in tw he immediatly shows up again just to join a squad. Well... if you recruit him you will get to know him.

Anyways, I dont have secrets about Egyptian. Twl is supposed to be fun and competitive, thats all I have to say.

btw my squadmembers support me + they agree.

if twl ops place the game at 1:30 saturday I wont be angry with them or think they dislike me. Just saying that in the case it will put there and my - few- eligable members cant make it because of work it might be a lousy playoffs.

I mean maybe it could be a good match at 1:30, but most people hardly play on saturday during that time.

And I know people dont care about these things Randedl, but the day I cared for the majority on this forums is long time ago. I just use this board to let all people know who DO care whats going on. I once in a while leave a message for twl ops when I have some news or something else interesting, but they never reply. At least they cant claim they havent seen this post.

Every squad gets 3 time slots for playoffs ?

We got 1 time slot on sat, 2 on sun...and we can choose who to play and when...so our beloved cap chose to assign times to our 2 sunday games, leaving us with one open time slot, and that being saturday.

So, you'd like us to reschedule one of the sunday games in order to play you when it fits you best. I'm assuming you wouldn't like 4:30pm sun time slot either, so how about 1:30 on sunday ? That ok with you ? Allrighty then, let me get on it...

The point Nasir, is that we don't want all 3 games on sunday. Some of us can't be there at that time, ie. me.


I'd have preferred if we would've played twlj vs ancients on saturday instead.
