Since no1 has posted this/given them recognition on the forum yet, I guess I will. Congratulations guys, not only did you get to the finals, which shocked most people in the first place, but you beat the almost seemingly unbeatable team. Diso mowed through almost everyone during regular season, but you were able to put a rock in their blade (okay cheesy metaphor, but it works).

I must say I'm impressed, but not suprised. I forgot to make a prediction in time, but I was going to go with Brookus' route, you guys have been playing your best games during the playoffs and Diso seemed to be playing their worst. You guys pulled it off and now you can relax and wait for next season

Truth of the matter is..if I hadn't subbed in for the last 3 minutes of game 2...we probably would have lost. But thats no suprise. I've been carrying this team since day one. Warming the bench...re-filling their water bottles...cleaning the bugs off their windshields...and even sometimes doing their laundry when time didnt permit them too (its hard to fly a ship with dirty underwear).

But seriously..thank you all Spastic Members new and old for making this a memorable union between two squads...and providing an awsome year.

Spastic congrats, i must say im not impressed, but rather knew deep down your performance would be less than shabby today. Your win was well deserved, although faith was lacking towards your side, i'd say you sure proved them. Cram or no cram, your squad is solid regardless, and i hope you bring this strength next season. I dont know how to say this, but it is really a sigh of relief among many new basers to know (i missed the game today due to work) championships can be won with new basing squads, and not the expectation that veteran basing squads can.

Cond, not just NEW basers, but basers that actually play OFTEN. Hopefully this proved that if you're an active enough baser, you too can become better than the veterans that might not play as often any more.

True ... practice does make you a better player and a better team. And hopefully Spastic can branch out and apply this season to dueling and javving ...
