The only thing is that maybe there is no way to kill the line now with a jav (except flying into those holes on the side of entrance and have a 30 degree angled shot).
But that's the only reason you would give up on cramming.
Lining would be more challenging because the terrier actually has to do something and the sharks have to think about positioning too.
It's hard though to predict what happens when a few hundred players try to master a map.

I think its very good idea, but it will be totally chaos if ppl start to add 3rd enterance and mess up the fr.

There should be tight rules. I dont think we should change FR anyhow. (well maybe few tiles, but no more)

ps. i love that "home map" thing :P i just hope this wont ruin next TWL (not too big changes)

Ok, I got the map uploaded and we played a ?Go base calibred game. As far as I can see it doesn't fuck up the game.
Ofcourse it wasn't a serious game, but the cram never held it very long. Both teams had a jav, and at this point ofcourse the attacking jav was in advantage because the good old defence spots for javs had disappeared.

hmm javelin seems to be a god at roof on this map, so maybe it needs some roof tweaking :P

I would honestly leave the roof as it was. If people are efficient enough to use the roof to their team's advantage, let them. Most teams don't even touch it. I see no point in messing with it at all.

Terring has gotten boring due to the "cram" any map that will make us go back to lining would be fun to try out and maybe use in twl

Nice idea. It would be fun to have new maps for all 3 leagues. Maybe the teams can negotiate which map they will play in when they negotiate the schedule of the match

Ok, I have got a little idea about map changing. It's only an idea and it's probably not the best idea but i'll let u decide. Since, according to some , basing has become a bit boring , i thought of this. Each TWL squad would choose a basing map out of a group of basing maps and what not and even can change the colors or what not and make it like their "home" map. So say spastic chose the normal map and added a logo or what not on it. Then during leagues or whatever if u had a home game u would use that map. Each team would have the map chosen before the season. So some teams could have cram friendly maps and other's have line friendly maps and so on. I guess it would make teams be more dynamic and play different styles. I don't know if I actually like this idea but just one i thought of. I think it would add alittle flavor to basing. So let me know what u think..

Personally I like the map as it is, but it would be a good thing to try in my opinion. Also, what do you guys think about it being a good idea to have a different map for TWLJ? (I know the current one is slightly different, but I mean more different, if that make sense <_< ) This could help because I know many javers, including myself, am used to the map and being used to the map can make a difference, but if there was a different map released at the time of TWL, it would be less of a variable.

making the line slightly more attractive (not susceptible to jav shots? since when is the susceptibility to jav shots a reason not to line?) will not make it better than the cram. to make a new map work you have to nerf the cram directly.

The map I made should make it possible to shoot at the cram without lining up a certain shot or shooting straight at it, basicly I designed it to make it worthwile to use a javelin. This way a javelin would blow up a cram alot easier, I think you would still have a disadvantage in flagroomfights.
