    To Crome and Acid: an inconsistency

    I've seen this argued for by a few squads (especially when it becomes an issue). Next season, forfeits/no-shows in TWL-D/J should result in a 50-0 for the squad that shows up and 0-50 for the forfeiters. Either that or make TWL-B forfeits/no-shows result in a 50k-0 for the squad that shows up.

    You see, 100k is generally the average score a squad will win by (assuming most squads have some blowouts as well as some close games). So giving a squad 100k when the opponent forfeits is equivalent to giving the squad a full win. Why then do squads in TWL-D/J only get a half win? :X

    Louis.. i agree with you half way.. but just think about those squads that are on the verge of dissolving.. you want them to sit and rot longer in the spot that another squad could take?

        A no-show is still a no-show, I'm just talking about the score of the squad that has to face the no-showers.

              it should be 100k-0k AND 50-0

              Why are you punished for them not showing up? If you were goign to beat them anyways chances are likely you would have gotten 50 kills. You just got lucky and didn't have any kills against.

                but you cant know for sure if you were gonna beat them, because upsets always happen, so why should you get all 50 kills you might not have earned. you earned the 25 for showing up and that's all you should get. this is also why forfeits in twlb should be cut in half.

                  no shows should be rescheduled first of all and then award a full win if another no show takes place.

                  is it a squads fault that the other no shown ? why do they only get half a win when they could have gotten a whole one ? especially considering that the tiebreaker this season was most kills gets higher spot. how can u compete for higher spot in a tie break if some squad no shown to u . u immediately get 25 less kills.
                  There is no point in singing while shitting cause shit wont come out dancing.....

                    What if the "crappier" team shows up and the "better" team doesn't? Why should they be punished with a real game vs. a much harder team if that team didn't bother showing up the first time?

                    Offering a 25-0 is a much cleaner way of doing this. Of course if that were so, you'd have to also change the playoff ranking system (for next season, this season has already been decided). Basically make it (kills-deaths) instead of absolute number of kills. Because a 25-0 victory is crappier than a 50-49 victory under the current system for rankings, and it would be unfair to punish the team that showed up with 25 less kills on their overall record.

                    The other comprimise is to offer a 50-25 victory instead of 25-0 which would make it work under the current squad ranking rules. But only give that score to the winning team, and give a 0-50 score to the team that didn't show up (so they don't get a free 25 kills for not showing up

                        you cant do it this way since it would be against the math.
