Could someone please spit out a date for TWL to start? Another twd reset is coming (as i just read for kjw) and twl will be at least a month after that. Nobody has any idea when the next twd reset will be so lets assume it's at least a month away - thats 2 more months until TWL which means were looking at the start time being somewhere in March. TWL had 15 rounds in it (and this is without any postponements to be made up, which there likly will be. So that makes twl about a 4 month long league. which would put twl during the summer AGAIN (EDIT: and it's not even begining summer we're looking at here, it's July for christ sake). You're supposed to learn from your mistakes. Summer Subspace leagues don't work half as well as winter ones and are plagued by inactivity.

Forget the next reset, we don't need it. Start TWL now or run the risk of having another half-assed season.

agreed. This thing was supposed to start in December or January at the latest. Another summer league is ridiculous. You're screwing the same people over every single season. Let someone else get screwed for once.

Does anybody really have a huge issue with not reseting twd when the new bots come in? The only real reason I could think of for needing to reset would be to test them, but they should already be tested AND do you want to have bots being tested during the supposed "last" reset?

I agree - in premier the seasons are basically right after another and nothing really changes, i prefer the wait that makes it mean something, however a summer league is a bad idea. I personally would like it to start up around nov and go through to feb BUT that would mean waiting another half a year for a league, which most people would be even less agreeable too.

I dont give a damn. In winter people go on vacation etc, in summer people go on vacation. If TWL fails during summer I can at least go to the beach and enjoy the hot weather. If it fails in winter I would be stuck at home because of the damn snow.

Well, you could always, not reset twd, but after the new bots, test it for another week or 2. Then start TWL.

To me ... waiting until the fall isn't a bad idea. Let some ideas flow that would be big improvements to TWD and TWL (whether that be rule changes, map changes, ship setting changes, bot changes, new leagues ... etc). If you're thinking of getting a quick fix for your league habit ... then try some other zones in the meantime.

Also remember that league TRIES to cater to most of the TW population. Let the staff do their thing and let the teams adapt to the situation. If you can't play some days then it's up the team to find suitable substitutes for those league games. In some ways this even encourages flexible, deep teams ... rather than those with only 10 members and only 5 players that play ALL the time.

the last twl season was fine except the part of being in the summer, thus u could use the work already done take a 2 month break beetween each league and keep it flowing. It was very good last twl we dont need this amazingg amount of improvement to have fun playing it. Just start it up for christs sake.

Im sure u put in aot of work and it will be even more fun, but im pretty contempt with the fun i already had last season, so i for one would prefer to keep the standards and start it faster.

while others might prefer a 1 year break beetween each league, id settle for a 2 month one
