what i mean by having 3 diff guys using 1 name is, for example u have lets say "poison" in a twjd, u see some guy u never saw b4, and he owns u, and u wonder "how" then u realize its really merce playing for poison. Then next time u see the name it could be blood playing, or sika. all examples of course, but i konw that there are many guys out there doin it and many squads doin it. And in most cases them guys win the game for the squad. Those thing will be more limited i imagind once these new bots aer working. I dont konw if u havnt noticed but there are a hellz lota new names never seen b4 owning on squads who shouldnt be owning. Or u play some squad full of alias'd ppl who own u and make ur rating drop way down. Either way both are stupid and harming to certain squad's chances in TWL.

doublesquadding and using other peoples names won't be tolerated and will not happen in the new TWL season. This is easily detected by the bots.

This is the 4th different subspace zone in which ive participated in a league. It is so far and away better than any of the other three, that I can only assume that you've played none of the other 3 (DSB, 17th Parallel, Metal Gear CTF) or you wouldnt be saying this. Why are you comparing TW to zones like DSB, 17th and MG CTF. Those barely compromise as real zones. I am comparing it to leagues such as Premier League, Realistic Subspace Hockey League, PowerBall League, Proball, United League, Warzone CTF League. Leagues in real zones, not shitty newbie super zone settings leagues.

Infact Premier League is going through a whole bot change with a much more complex bot system than the TW ones, with bots that count damage, aim% with each weapon, how much damage you take, forced reps, assists and the list goes on and on. And it has only taken a month and two weeks to start 3 different leagues within Premier. Each with a playerbase over 75. Each with 16+ Squads. While still changing the League Ops around about 3 times, having Ghost Ship and Shanky retire from Subspace.

RSHL, went through a complete bot and league signup change as well, while revamping the site, rules, and maps. And still didn't take any longer than 2 and a half months. And they too change the head League Administration when they were inactive for a few weeks.

The League Staff in TW is crap, the only person who is I have seen to be actually beneficial to the zone is Pure_Luck. And Wark is competent at hosting events , but that is off subject.

Agreed. Saying DSB, 17th, MG CTF and D RAGON BALL Z SUBSPACE ZONE are shining examples of well run leagues is like saying your cat's breath smells like dog food. No. Just no.

And as long as TW's leagues blow chunks we'll be stuck in the same category as those down syndrome zones.

I'm going to post in Cpt's defense in that there are a ton of things which go on behind the scenes which none of you are aware.

There are huge limitations on who can help in the leagues, and how much they can help which the league staff has absolutely no control over unlike in other zones. Hell in all the other zones listed that have so called 'good' leagues, their leagueops all have sysop access. TW League Ops have no such thing. TW League Ops don't even have direct access to their own bots thanks to certain limitations, and thus if you remember like last season, one bug in the bot can cause the whole weekend to fail if the proper people aren't around the fix it.

That said because of the way the system is set up, Cpt is basically doing the entire thing himself, including all the reprogramming of things necessary. In other leagues there are many people who can help, this is not so in TW. Also, until recently Mythrandir's absence from TWD because of his own real life events also made things hard in order to know when to have a set date for things.

Sure Cpt. could be working harder, but he has other things to do in real life. Why isn't someone else running the league then? Of everyone on staff, Cpt is the most qualifed to run it, and so just be patient because the next season will rock!

As for the limitations? I'd rather not go too much into Upper Staff policy, but I guess there are good reasons why it's like this and there is absolutely no way it will change in the near future.

Finally of all the other leagues listed, only Premier League rivals TWL in size. RSHL and Powerball and Proball and WZL and Chaos League are vastly smaller and less complex compared to TWL. And Premier League has more or less three identical leagues with three identical settings with three different staffs all working together to make it work. TWL has one staff for three subleagues each with different settings and different bot programming to deal with and that one staff is also responsible for running the zone normally in addition to their duties at TWL. Also the philosophy of those other zones are vastly different. In those other zones (Premier, Hockey, Powerball, Warzone, Chaos), the leagues are an integral part of the zone. It could be argued that the zones exist purely as prac arenas for the zones. Sure they have special events sometimes, but they are mostly geared toward the league, and thus the entire zone staff is league dedicated. In TW meanwhile, leagues are only one part of a much greater entity of which league has little to do with the happenings in pub. Combine that with TW events, new arenas, elim and baseelim and you get to realize that most of the staff cannot dedicate their time to the league, and will not because league is not the primary focus of the zone. I sure wish it was, but I guess not. Thus comparing TWL to other leagues is like apples and oranges.
