If you can throw this together i'd suggest a max of two games a day (per team I mean) or maybe two games a weekend. You could just do a round robin if we have say 10 teams and have the top half go into an elimination tourny.

I think if you did it that way, it'd last about a month and take up just that much more time during twl-off season

Ah, I remember the basing draft tournament Cpt. Guano hosted many months ago... I think it was 3 a.m. when it began and I stayed up until 6 something. my team won, and i had a lot of fun. there is a post about it somewhere. i like it when mods become mods to host events and help tw be more fun rather than to obtain power. for the last few months ive been pretty bored with the event situation... nothing interesting. deathmatch... and... javs... and a tourny once a week? even zombies and turretwarz seem to have become forgotten. now recently though i have seen balance, racing2, proball, ctfbase, 2flag, zombies, and turretwarz (only spiders in turrets, though, DAMMIT. i cant believe people like spiders there when EVERYWHERE else they OVERWEALMINGLY choose javs).

OOO Draft Tourney sounds elite. But why not do it during the week, or on Sundays only. Most of us, or at least myself are kind of afk on Friday and Saturday.

Or you can have an informal tournament for the first few games until semi finals, where teams set up a date and time between themselves. And then report to a website or a forum dedicated to the Mini Tournament.

Ya p_l i'd suggest a signup thing sorta like we had w/ BWC, put it on the TW site and do some *zoners w/ a link to sign up, see how many ppl u get and then u pick the captains and blah blah. Sounds best way to me. Im also in for jav/basing. Even WB if a playerwas to be needed =p.
