k since u guys are pretty much excited, cept for one of u so far, lets get a signup going. Who wants to deal with that(free cookie for you). After u get a signup going we can continue from there. I can get the signup on the tw website and zone it during popular times if u want. Then we need captains. I think i can make the captains and see if u guys object or whatever.

Ya i suggest u select the Captains from who signs up. Ur judgement is probably better then ours.

I think the best way to go about it is to have people who are willing to captain to signup for it first. Once the captains have been selected, you get the list of players who are interested in playing and who can put aside time to compete in the Draft League. Put the list on a website, or create a thread with the players. Then arrange a meeting with all the captains and you Live in a Private arena in Trench Wars. And each captain chooses a player until no players remain. Then post the Team Names/Captains/Rosters on the TW website or forum.

Then the captain can go from there, contact his team members, and get a chat going for them or whatnot.

I dont remember what team I was on last draft league (the original wb one) but I think it was something with train and I also think we won (or maybe it was never finished?) I have really no idea at all, I do however know that the picking phase was alot more exciting than the draft league itself

I will play, and cap if thats ok. We do have to make sure we get even teams tho.. So not that its like 1 team Pallies/diso/wr vs something like night/rb/br.. just to name an example.. But ya I am game.

but i think you will find that lame vets who get drafted onto a team that they think isnt good, just wont bother to show up and play

Since draft league is to sorta showcase a bunch of diff players form different teams coming together to win some games ... the best situation would be no one from the same TWD squad can play in the same Draft League team. Of course it's hard to get some cohesiveness. So my opinion is that 2 players max (who are on the same TWD squad) can play for a Draft League team. Of course ... if you guys think you can handle all diff players coming from diff teams, then by all means do that ... that's what the spirit of draft league sorta is.

Then the caps will have to make wise choices (ie. not pick ppl who won't bother to show up). That's why Draft League showcases the captains abilities in decision making.

A max of 2 sounds good, then something like a max of 12 per team. Probably ending up with 8-12 teams. And we could run it Double Elimination style, that would probably be the easiest way to do it.

Losers Bracket =

Winners Bracket =

Whoever loses from the Losers Bracket is eliminated, and the winners from the losers bracket then play the losers from the winners bracket. While A E I get a bye, so pretty much this could all be completed within 2 days or 1. Which I would opt for over several weekends. And it would keep going, it would end up with 5 teams remaining, the undefeated team getting another bye, and both teams with 1 loss continue to play eachother until they are all eliminated.
