What a fantastic idea, except that means i'm 2 players shorter than everybody else, and even if you replaced my team with the two players i would have been short there not gonna be near the caliber of the guys i lost (we're talking about merce and mitch, for the record (they're gay)) If you could have found me another terr thats one of the 4 best of alltime and another jav thats among the best right now i'd be surprised, to say the least.

Agreed. Next time these players should not be allowed to play draft league ... at least the next one. However, aliases will prob be used more if this rule is implemented. Then some stuff will prob have to deal with aliases in draft league.

PS. Can someone move all these threads into Draft League Forum? Makes things more centrally located.

Thats another thing, several people used alias' in this years (i won't say who, i promised i wouldn't) but an allstar in several leagues went in the 15th round.

And Lo' the problem with draft league.

Couple suggestions for dealing with some of this:

1. No trades. It's a draft league, trades are silly.
2.You must submit your most well known alias on the draft league form. If you're found undercutting your rep, you can be banned from draft play (this is in place in powerball I think)
3.Draft league is draft league not squad league. You should not come in to draft league needing to play with someone else. That's the whole point of draft league.

Pure, Randedl and I had a conversation about the maturity of TW players and it's effect on the draft league. Nice to see I wasn't completely off the mark :P

I think if someone does break a rule that gets them banned it should be a perma ban from all draft leagues. I think the rep issues wasn't a big one this time (the signing up with a dif name so you can go lower) BUT it will be next time, don't kid yourself, so by then there needs to be some sort of rule.

Mattey when merce came around he was head and shoulder above anybody left - i didn't forsee him being stupid and gay (literally)

as far as Mitch goes, he wanted to play with Hannes, so i tried to trade for hannes but rand wouldn't let him go, so i traded him to rand and now he wants back on my team because he hates rand. God you guys are sad.

Ban them from next draft league. It's a draft league ... not any other league. And randomize the remaining players ... that way, if an alias is left out of the picks, he/she will be randomized on a team and cannot join their "choice" of a team.

Yes some ppl are sad, but thats what u have in draft league. U have a bunch of guys leading basicaly a squad of guys who dont really get along with each other. There are ppl who have problems w/ ppl from years in the past, yet that captain didnt know that. U also have ppl who are "newer" and treated it on chat. Today i saw Rand tell Fire child he wont be played in any of the games regardless. I like rand but thats just plain out mean to say to someone, and when a captain loses the respect of his players, his players jsut wont care to show up. I dont know rand's and fire child's past or whatnot, but regardless if the captains are acting this way u cant complain about the players. And picking awesome just so he cant play is really immature, and its a captain doin it.

Mite of been Fire phoenix instead of fire child, not sure.

the problem with this draft league is it isn't like a pro sports team where you get paid, you only play subspcae to have fun, and some people need to be with there buddies to have fun, because they're gay and can't make new friends.

Well i dont like mitch to much, and he dont like me, but im willing to play beside him for the draft league, and im sure he'd do the same. It isnt about making friends, but when captains are telling ppl they wont get playing time b4 the 1st week even starts, that is also a problem.

Agreed. After this Draft League is over ... ppl should give feedback on who was a good capt and why.
