Teams have $100 each to bid on players in Free Agency.

If 48 hours pass from the last bid, you win the player. Any new bid resets the timer.

Minimum bid is $1, max is $100. If you bid $10 and win the player, you have $90 left for future bids.

Players not bid on after 48 hours of being declared a free agent by a Basing Cup op will be randomly assigned to a team for free. I will try to message caps of any major FAs that have entered the pool, but please check this thread periodically.

Ties will be broken through randomization. Ties over $40 and on 9*+ stars will be randomized on live stream for accountability. If captains aren't online, I will grab players from your team as witnesses.

Players can enter Free Agency until Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 11:59pm EST. After that, no new players can enter the pool. Players in the pool can still be bid on after November 28th. Either 48 hours must pass without a bid to win the player, or, if the amount bid is higher than any other team can match, the team automatically wins the player and he becomes immediately eligible to play.

Caps are free to bid on any player added to the FA pool.

You have to bid $1 to secure them at the minimum.

If there are no bids from 48 hours of being added to the list (timestamp below), they're randomized to a team. You can win all the randomizations or none, there's no balancing. If you want the player, bid on them.

The apt auction seems flawed. Surely all caps should immediately bid their entire balance as they expect no other use for these space bux? The caps who made purchases before the deadline automatically lose as their balances are lower, so they would not want additional auctions after the deadline. The caps who have the maximum balance are all in a draw situation resolved by a randomised result. Can be resolved by giving all teams the maximum balance / randomising between all of them, but it still feels a bit scuffed.

Surprising amount of money remaining too, would be interested to know why caps didn't engage with auctions.
