• 5 teams per division
• Separate caps for each division

• April 27, 2025 – Draft: 2pm EST - 3:30pm EST, (Potential pre-season games from 3:30pm - 5:00pm EST.)
• May 4, 2025 – Week 1 (Games 1/2)
• May 11, 2025 – Week 2 (Games 3/4)
• May 18, 2025 – Week 3 (Games 5/6)
• May 25, 2025 – Week 4 (Games 7/8)

• June 1, 2025 – Semi-Finals
• June 8, 2025 – Finals

🏆 Prize Pool:

Regular Season Format:

• Double Round Robin: Each team plays every other team twice during the season.
• Top 4 teams in each division advance to the playoffs.

Team Signups:

• Target is 5 teams per division
• If signups exceed expectations, extra teams may be added at the ops' discretion
• Schedule will not change regardless of team count

Bans and Zero Tolerance Policy:


Players who refuse to play, block trades, or lie about show rate will be banned.
Key Rules:

• Auto-Ban: Sharing accounts or logging in as another player = 2-season ban
• Alias Abuse: Season-long ban
• Pre-Draft Threats: Minimum 2-season ban

League ops will review all violations. Sportsmanship is key.

Appeals Process:

• 2 appeals per captain during regular season
• All playoff matches are appealable
• Must post within 24 hours of incident on forums
• Appeals reviewed within 72 hours
• If granted, game will be replayed. If the opposing team refuses to reschedule reasonably, they forfeit.

Emergency Scenarios:

In rare disruptions, league ops will consult the decisions committee & captains and decide the fairest course of action.

Playoff Format:

• Top 4 teams per division qualify
• Seeding:
  • #1 vs. #4
  • #2 vs. #3
• Tiebreakers:
  1. Head-to-head
  2. K-ratio in head-to-head
  3. Most kills in division
  4. Still tied? A play-in match determines the seed

Best of 3 Series:

• Warbird & Javelin: First to 50 kills
• Basing: 15-minute match

Trades:

• Allowed until May 17, 2025, 11:59 PM EST (end of Week 2)
• Submit trades before Friday, 11:59 PM EST each week
• Ops review all trades – lopsided trades will be rejected

Free Agency:

Free Agency may be allowed, depending on post-draft needs.
Details to come. Final decision to be made after the draft.

• No Star Caps
• No Borrowing
• Everyone who signs up WILL be drafted
• You can sign up for 1, 2, or all 3 divisions
• Aliasing is allowed for parity, but captains and ops will know your main alias
• Sign up early to help us run a smooth league.

🚨 League Format Update – Please Read! 🚨

Hey everyone – just a quick update following some refinements to the League Cup setup:

Key Changes to the Original Post

• Teams per Division:
  Originally set to 6, we are now targeting 5 teams per division to allow for tighter competition, better scheduling, and more streamlined drafting.
• Draft Date & Schedule Clarification:
  • Draft: Still happening April 27, 2025, now from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM EST
  • We’ve added the potential for pre-season matches from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM EST that day for captains who want a quick run-through before games begin.
• Season Duration:
  With 5 teams per division and a double round robin, there will be 4 weeks of regular season play (instead of 5). The Playoff Schedule remains unchanged:
  • June 1, 2025 – Semi-Finals
  • June 8, 2025 – Finals
• Free Agency:
  We’re now considering free agency, depending on how the draft shakes out. No promises yet – more info will be posted after the draft.
• Trades Deadline Adjusted:
  The trade deadline is now May 17, 2025, 11:59 PM EST (end of Week 2) – one week earlier than originally posted.

🚨 Draft Day Update – Important Details 🚨

The Trench Wars League Cup – Spring 2025 Draft is happening TODAY, April 27th, starting at 2:00 PM EST!

Here’s everything you need to know:

Draft Order:

• Draft order for the first round will be determined by captain star ratings.
• The lowest rated captain will pick first, followed by the next lowest, and so on.
• For captains tied in star rating, the draft order will be randomized as follows:
  • First, a dice will be rolled using this dice roller.
  • The number rolled will determine how many times the list is randomized on random.org's list randomizer.

Draft Format:

• Each division has 5 teams.
• Captains will vote to decide the draft format at the start of each division's draft.
• A majority (3 or more votes) will decide between the two formats:

Option 1:
➡️ Standard Snake Draft

Option 2:
➡️ Cumulative Star Total Draft for the first 7 rounds:
After each round, teams' cumulative star totals will be calculated.
The team with the lowest total will pick first in the next round, and so on.
After the first 7 rounds are completed, the draft will switch to a standard snake draft for the remaining rounds.

🔹 Important for Option 2:

• If two or more teams are tied in cumulative star total at the end of a round, pick order for those teams will be determined using random.org's list randomizer with 3 rerolls to finalize the order.

Pre-Season Matches:

• After the draft concludes (around 3:30 PM EST), optional pre-season matches can be played for any teams that want an early scrim session.

Schedule Note:

• To complete all double round robin games within the 4-week regular season, some additional games will be scheduled at 1:00 PM, 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM time slots as needed.
• Full updated schedule details will be posted early next week.

Important League Update – Play-In Vote + Week 2 Flex Scheduling

🔹 Play-In Vote for 4th Seed 🔹

Before Week 1 games, the League Ops team (Ekko, Rampage, Lee, Omega Red) and Decisions Committee (Tiny, Cripple, Harder) discussed a potential change to playoff structure: 4th and 5th place teams would play a Bo1 "play-in" match to determine the 4th semifinal seed.

Tentative Play-In Times (if approved):
Warbird – 12:30 PM EST
Javelin – 1:00 PM EST
Basing – 1:30 PM EST
Sunday, June 1st – Subject to final vote outcome.

Since this format was not announced before Week 1, we are leaving the final decision to captains in each division.

Captain votes are due by Friday, May 9th, 2025.
Depending on the result, some divisions may have a play-in, others may eliminate the 5th team directly after the regular season.

🌸 Week 2 Games – Mother’s Day Flexibility 🌸

Due to Mother’s Day falling on Sunday, May 11th, captains are allowed to reschedule any of their Week 2 games if both teams agree.

- Games can be rescheduled to any day between Monday, May 5th and Friday, May 23rd.
- All reschedules must be confirmed in writing on the Trench Wars forums.
- Please finalize new times at least 24 hours in advance so Ops can coordinate and support the match.
