• Trade Deadline: May 17, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST (end of Week 2)
• Weekly Cutoff: All trades must be submitted by Friday, 11:59 PM EST each week for that weekend’s games
• Approval Process: All trades will be reviewed by ops
  • Lopsided or unfair trades will be rejected

📌 How to Submit a Trade

Both captains involved must confirm the trade in this thread.

Example Format:

Team A trades PlayerX to Team B for PlayerY
Confirmed by: CaptainA & CaptainB

Once both sides confirm, the trade will be reviewed by ops and approved or denied in this thread.

Hello,

In the basing division I (Ekko - Ethereal) am offering JOESES to Zizu (Crab Champions) for player Dak.

This may appear a bit lopsided, but JOESES is unable to make playoffs whereas I'm pretty sure Dak can. If Zizu agrees, Omega Red/Lee/Rampage can make the call on this trade.


edit: actually im not sure Dak can at all, i just assume.

No offence to Dak, he is a good Warbird, but 9.5* starting LB shark for a 7.5* cheerleader that we don't need feels insanely one sided.

This trade is the reason there is oversight on trades and as an op you should lead by example and not offer such an unbalanced trade.

All ops vote to not allow this, as its too lopsided of a trade, key starter vs someone with very rare appearances in base.
Someone saying they show or not show is something that we dont enforce in leagues. Hence if joes plans suddenly change and he actually comes online, there is nothing we can do to stop him from playing.

I don't think it's fair to say we don't consider showrates when they're posted in the signup thread. The captains obviously do, which is why Joe and Dak were drafted in the same round. There aren't formal rules posted about why you'd reject a trade for cups, but this would typically pass in DT.

In DT dak would have a lot more value since it is 3 leagues. This is just BasingCup where there is a 2* difference regardless of draft round. I would like to point out we literally have nothing to gain by getting Dak, he would sit on the bench. So this trade would literally just be to help out the other team...which gives one team an unfair advantage over the others.

What if put a *can only be used in regular season clause on joeses for the trade,

then it isn’t unfair, and has no chance to be.

Trade denied. Make a fair trade, no asterisk. This is a no star limit league, trades must be comparable, within a .5 star or atleast 1 star with a reason, ie had no terr or shark. No more changing rules, bending, adjusting. No play in for a 5 team league and letting 5 teams in. Let’s go.
