Also, I agree with the whole statement based on that some people were on a really really good wardbird team... meaning their entire job is easier. They will have far better rating playing with that team than with a team that was just bad. You can have the best player in the game play on a team, and yet if he is with a bunch of bad players, he might not do so well. However, you can take a mediocre player who averages 8-10 on a bad team and put them on a good one, and they will all of a sudden hit 12-15 kills every game based on that. It upgrades their level of play, because they are having to do far less.

The ones that deserve a 9 or 10 star rating are ones that can and will carry a team with a bunch of nobodies, compared to someone that will do pretty bad with them. Anyone can do well with a decent team around them though.

This isn't entirely accurate. It's unclear whether or not a mediocre player will get more or less kills depending on who he's playing with. Bad players miss shots that good players will hit the majority of the time. Then there are less kills for the mediocre player to get. It also depends on the mediocre players style and that of his team. Speaking from personal experience when I play on bad squads I tend to rec more, whereas if I'm playing with a good team I'll try to be a better team player and push with the team, which usually results in more deaths, not necessarily more kills. In some cases a bad team gives a mediocre player the ability to shine because he's the best on the team.

If you think anyone can do well with a decent team around them then watch the_paul try to wb or jav. Also, how many people in twdt are really nobodies with a 2*-5* rating? A few, but not many, and they don't get played. There won't be a single top player that consistently plays with a bunch of nobodies in twdt, nor in twl.

if you read the 1st post, contesting your own rating is not accepted as valid. also ust fyi for all those getting your friends to pile up my inbox with ?messages about how you should be something else. i am not dumb and living in a bubble. i can see who is on your squad and what the general social groups of this game are. if you get 20 ppl who are obviously your friends/squaddies to vouch for you, it is less valid to me than one person who is simply appealing of their own volition and opinion.

I protest being a 7. I should be a 6 at best, I played a few rounds in TWLJ and lost every single round horribly then dropped out. The only reason I was a "starter" is because I was the captain. :fear:

I don't know who did these ratings... but people like weak got 8 stars in WB while people like paska got 7.

Anyone that knows actual skill in WB would wonder what the deal is with this. Weak is a decent player... a decent 7... but he isn't an impact player by any stretch of the word. He is a decent 10 kill guy in any lineup though.

Skill wise... paska is a lot better.

I won't even get involved with geio... another 8 star. If you are basing this on TWL well... no comment. If you are basing on skill, I can see it slightly.

I was a 7 last year ex, which was defined as being a twl player. I didn't do to bad at all last year, almost helped us win the ld title. This offseason I added a midrange game, which most people have seen, but apparently you havent. Paska is a good player, hes just inactive. So I don't understand why you keep trashing me, yes I do suicide at times, but I play midrange alot more, I mean if you payed attention instead of trying to call people out all of the time you would see, but It's whatever I guess. Say what you what.

If you would like my wb ratings though, please let me know and I will spend the time and do them (if you even care to get one more person's opinion).
