    drose24 and extra points

    I noticed drose24 has been picked up via free agency by Thrill before this post (currently Tuesday 11:14 am pacific) - I do not see how this is possible as we are currently about 38 hours from Sunday-Monday midnight, 10 hours short of the 48 hours uncontested bid cutoff, assuming that Thrill put the bid on him right at midnight between Sunday & Monday.

    Furthermore, the extra 10 points of cap room per victory has not been added yet, which is kind of a bummer because 20 extra points for my team would have gone a long way in picking up one of the 1-2 worthwhile free agents left on the waiver list.

    Explanation for the early pickup?

      the only "loophole" i can think of that allows for this is for a player to withdraw from the league, allowing a captain to replace that player with another of equal or lesser value. nobody on thrill's team has withdrawn - jeenyuss was dropped and is still on waiver; racka and expert was traded for stab and saetep, both are on roster. even if a player withdrew from his team, i find it hard to believe that outside of mega, that drose24 could be considered a lesser player.

      btw, who the fuck are you zeebu? i asked a legitimate question, don't need your worthless input.

      question still stands - what happened?

        That was an accident... It seems it was a misclick by me when I was checking the bids. I didn't even notice, drose24 is back on the market...gonna talk to humid about it since zazu is out of town still I think.

            How am I expected to be compensated for this? Because I'm 99% sure I would have won the bid after the 12 odd or so hours that I had left before the bid closed with me as the winner. But now, I have virtually no chance of winning this bid after everything has happened.

              Well seeing as the bid started at an illegal time, according to what jaa was talking about, it wouldn't of mattered either way. So the best I can come up with as far as compensation for you goes is, now you know and knowing is half the battle!

                Update

                It was a mistake on blackmage's part that is understandable given the button layout of the admin panel of the TWDT website. I am surprised that this is the first time. That said, here is what was decided: The time that the original bids of thrill and jaa has long since expired. Given that I can see the value of both of their bids, jaa's was far insufficient to win. Thus, since no other cap has made a bid, I am giving drose24 to Thrill for keeps.

                Jaa's objection that is bound to come: If I had my extra stars I would have and could have outbid him. Debunked: No, I did the math and he would have outbid you in any and all cases. Trust me on that one.
                In regards to the extra *s, there have been many credible skeptical remarks made in regards to my decisions. Thankfully (due to zazu's vacation and my complications) the decision has not been finalized and added. I am unsure if it is possible on the web end, let alone if I still want to go through with it.

                Sorry for my being away so much this week, my reasons are legitimate.

                  No problem humid, you're doing the best you can. Good luck with everything irl, and tbh I don't complain if I don't get extra stars added or not, they are always welcome, but if you're a good twdt captain you did your pickings during regular twdt draft already and shouldn't need these extra stars

                    If anyone can explain me the problem in game, maybe I can solve it.

                      The extra stars are something people like jaa made up to have fun with the bidding system some more. Even tho it was never talked about until after the first week games we're done and that it's nowhere in the rules, there is apparently going to be stars given for last week's winners.
