As for things like what happened with waven, there will always be people who are displeased. In my very first season of running DT MM89 withdrew himself because he was the third highest rated player and not the 1st, or something dumb like that.

Just do a forum search for Exalt. Or better yet, don't and take my word for it.

I think that there were only two people who disliked when I changed the system from 1 rating to 3 (Vati was one of them cuz he has always disliked TWDT and for a somewhat justifiable reason...dun remember the other).

However, people always ALWAYS ALWAYS bitch up a storm about the actual ratings themselves. The forums cannot even compare to the volume of messages and pms I would receive in game. It is absurd how much people believe that a number is a quantifier of their skill level, when it really attempts to measure individuals on an objective-ish scale.

And here is my suggestion to all you "omg I wanna play, but I am secretly afraid of the ego bruising, but i know i am like top5 wb". Go throw yourself into free agency. Some captain will bid a retarded amount on you and you will feel great when you're bought for 12 or some shit. Then you'll get outplayed by a 3 all season long. Dem 6*s always stepped it up. SRS.
