So, I decided to actually read the rules then analyze the situation here and it brought 2 crucial points of relevance that I feel must be shared.

Your the stupidest fucking cunt to ever play this game, and every thought that passes through your pea-sized brain is an insult to human evolution.

I lost my #1 shark against a garbage squad we'd beat 100 out of 100 times because of server-side issues, while trying to help him fix it and terr at the same time, and forcing my #1-2 spider into shark, in a game lost by like 40 seconds in which we'd easily win by 5+ minutes otherwise.

You legit had a TWDT playoff spot decided by a TW EVENT like in your original rules. A TW EVENT. You thought that was a good idea. And you're the one deciding this shit? Unreal.

We both know what the result would have been. And he's the 2nd or 3rd best shark in the zone, and it has a cascade effect forcing me to shark Hellkite and lose a 1st round spider pick to play in a sub-optimal role.

It shouldn't matter how many players it is, only that it had a reasonably impactful swing in determining the winner. If 5 low-star non-starting basers can't show, it has less impact than Porkjet unable to play.

You of all people, long-time TWDT head operator, should know the skill level of one player is not a factor when dealing with appeal decisions. You try to make a better case for yourself saying wb and jav don't matter when it should be equal value. For you obviously it isnt because you gave up on DT-D/DT-J pre-draft.

I dont think this appeal should granted based solely on the way you brought this up, lol. Call everyone out, question the competence of several ops and completely lose it. Its funny that you turn into 8 year old kid when you realize that you can't make the biased final decision anymore like so many times before.

What still bugs me is that in this shown video porki goes to other zone(EG) first and then ?go trenchwars. I told you during TWDT-D games that the problem might get fixed if you didn't go to other zone first, but go straight to TW. This fixed the issue for portion of the players. I still assume that porki tried that too.
However, it raises a question if this appeal is based on this evidence?

Conversely, I played 7vs8 vs zidane for the first ~4 minutes trailing 0-4. We lost the game 15:00-11:08. Bellflowers got dc'd and came back at ~4minutes. This is irrelevant, though.

I was about to start Havok 8* baser but he mysteriously disappeared after trying to enter TWDTB arena couple of times.
He just said 2:Havok> comp issues brb
Instead I was forced to start 2x 6* + 2x 7*.(Apparently this makes a better case lol!!!!)
Havok came back approximately at 12 minute mark.

Who knows if Havok had the same issue?
We probably woulda have won!!!

I didn't care for one game in TWDT 2 0 1 7 but seeing you pull this absolute shit again. Well, I changed my mind.

isn't the point of TWDT that it isn't TWL and it's to give game time to an array of different levels of talent on a team? I mean what if PJ had just been away and couldn't play anyway....would we replay it?

Also from what I saw baratheon had a far better line in and just didn't step up and lost a game they should have won easily even with porkjet missing.

P.S this isn't a bashing, just saying it from an outsiders view, the rub of the green didn't go your way in 1 basing match and that happens sometime, I'm sure baratheon will be in the final regardless

In my defense, I had also tried the normal way (no download screen, just crashed), run SS as Admin (crash), changed resolutions (crashed), logged in with TWDT lvl/lvz's from Turban (crashed), uninstalled/reinstalled SS (crashed), played from Steam client (crashed), and basically any way possible to get into any TWDT arena and the result was the same (crash). I just happened to record this one instance, but it all basically ends up with the same result.

The only successful TWDT arena I could manage to get into was TWDTD4, which I will assume did not change since the last season of TWDT (thanks turban for helping out!)

I don't really care if the games get replayed or not (I have a captain that will sort that out), but I am more concerned on whether qan or someone has found the issue and fixed up the TWDT arenas so that other players that had this issue can play for this Sunday. My case for getting this fixed quickly isn't just so I can play, but also so that I can also record the games that are being played. I am not sure 15 minute recordings of me failing to enter any TWDT arenas will make for exciting television.

I would try logging into TW, then ALT TAB and enter a TWDT arena. You will be able to DL and enter it. BUT once you get back in it will D/C you. If you want the solution let me know.

Well since I had the exact same problem at one point, this is how I did it. First, I have Window 7 64 Bit. Most likely it is an issue with AMD's drivers and DirectX that isn't compatible with 1 line or so within the LVZs that it loads. Radeon ReLive is the problem from what I found. So first download 'AMD Catalyst Drivers 15.7.1 Windows 7 64' at http://filehippo.com/download_ati_ca...64/tech/62141/. Once that is done, download their DDU which will do a clean uninstall of your current drivers from http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/...-download.html. That will ask you to restart into Safe Mode to complete... say Yes. Once that is done and it restarts, install Catalyst 15.7.1 drivers. Once that is done, delete the 'zones' folder from wherever your Continuum is located (C:\Program Files (x86)\Continuum or C:\Program Files\Continuum) Let it re download the arenas and you should be good to go. Now if that wont work, go to Control Panel ---> User Accounts... Make a new account with Admin privileges and load Continuum and enter. If none of the above helps you then find the closest thing to a baseball bat and smash your PC as hard as you can, then throw it in the trash. Hope this helps and good luck.

It has nothing to do with me making the decision, especially considering I never handled a game Appeal when my team was involved. It has to do with what I believe is the wrong decision being made, that happens to be about my team. A lot of people who gain nothing or actually would lose something believe the games should be replayed.

Just like how I posted about how I disagree with TWDT being a 3 week season, decided by a TW event, having two FAs, having the trade week extend too far into the season, and a host of other things that aren't related to my team.

I don't think Henry Saari is biased, in fact I think he's very level-headed, mature, and calm (traits I wish I had more of). I just think his logic is flawed and that he's wrong on the issue.

Vys, on the otherhand, doesn't like me at the moment and made one of the most horribly biased, irrational Appeal responses in TWDT history, and his giving himself and fu inc. players all 10s in ratings further reinforces that. He didn't even seriously consider my appeal, which is insane.

Geio agreed with my Appeal, but it's 2-1 so I guess the appeal is denied. I'm over it.

I think it's pretty weird that you get to go off on tangents in forums complaining about your team all the time over the years, but when I do it you're quick to jump out and attack me for it.

I ran about as close to a perfect season of TWDT as humanly possible last fall, and I'm pretty sure the only complaint was you crying about me changing a rating of a player 6 hours before the draft on the advice of Stayon saying the rating was too broken. I announced it in caps chat which you unfortunately didn't see (and didn't scroll up), then drafted that package with him in it.

Then you harped about it all season, saying I was biased against you, as if I had some magical power able to clairvoyantly predict which package you were going to take, while also knowing you wouldn't see my message in red, WHILE taking advice on picks from Stayon, the guy on your team who had the rating changed in the first place.

You had the most successful run in TWDT history while I was an op, reaching six consecutive finals, and yet you act like I'm out to get you, and take every opportunity to lash out at me.

Can't we just... fix the lvl/lvz's?

I don't see why replacing the files with fresh ones would not fix it? Unless the code changes from when you install the files themselves, and no matter how fresh they are; the code of the files stay the same. If the code does not change automatically, then can't staff post fresh lvz files with updated codes that work and fix the issue for players who can't enter these zones? I may be completely off here, but just a thought..

Hi guys, just letting you know, working on a solution here. The problem is indeed with TWDT.lvz.

My first hunch was the filesize is quite large. But, many arenas have larger LVZs. The files themselves may be too large in size. Or, they may be a bit too long, with one being 4452 pixels long. I want to try breaking them up a bit.

Absolute worst case, we just remove this LVZ before the weekend, and then fix it later on when it's not critical/blocking people from playing. So regardless, everyone will be able to play next weekend. (Well, as long as you're both drafted and aren't benched, heh.)

However, I need help testing! Because I can't reproduce this bug myself, it's very hard to test. I live in Japan and work full-time. I'm around 5PM to 10PM every night JST. That's 4AM to 9AM EST, or 8AM to 1PM GMT. (!servertime to TW-PubSystem to see times around the world)

tbh the only problem i encountered was that the download of the arena took longer than ussual. eventually u were still able to get in, just had to wait it out for like 3 min
