Saw somebody mention making the games earlier in favor of the Euros and I am all for that. Usually TW stays heavily populated at the conclusion of TWDT with one or two BDs or a competitive ?go base match ensuing. If the games are earlier it could spark some interest to hang around for some of our casual Sunday players given the normal time they're used to with the current structure. 12pm EST time would be cool.

Are you just waiting for a lightning rod figure to step up and plan things? Seems like all that would need is exactly one person to step up and say, "Sign up here to play on this day at this time." Could be you?

Ex-DSB vet here who'd obviously love to be able to play DSB competitively again. Hated East personally but I could certainly stomach it if it's that or nothing! North at least lets you do 4s.

I'm gonna pump for a 4th event in lieu of the second base match again.

- 5v5 spider league
- 1v1 race event between two fastest players
- 5v5 EG baseduel
- 4v4 DSB East

We're getting a lot of cross-zone migration from dying/dead zones, and it might be worth looking at the most successful leagues in those zones. Some of them were really really good.

This is the best way to avoid snore fest teams like Zidane's or Dreamwin's running away with it. A 1v1 race means you only need one incredibly talented pilot to show up. An EG baseduel / DSB East event would give multizoners a huge edge. And it would be much easier to field a team of 5 spiders than a traditional base team.

Bring in something new imo. It's only TWDT, not like the titles really matter.

Best idea here, not only can it help attract players from EG or DSB but im sure a lot of us TW vets feel a little stale these days and wouldnt mind playing in some new game modes ourselves. This could be a really fun idea to breathe a little life into some of us.

Nobody ever said that TWDT needs to be a strict Warbird, Jav, Basing structure every time. We should consider rotating other types of game modes into the draft format. Like these spider divisions or EG/DSB style baseduels. Maybe every TWDT we rotate 3 different leagues, add a little spice to this stale environment. Even adding something like Turretwar like Rab mentioned could be a really weird/fun twist to the season. How the fuck do you draft for a turretwar league? no idea but i bet it would be fun as hell

We should be looking to incorporate more game modes into the TWDT drafting format. Even something like Freezetag could be a fun mix up to the Warbird dueling division. Who doesnt want to be the freezetag champs?

Some cool ideas but lot of ideas that are being floated around should first be tested, for example in twd before being included in twdt. Twdt is a proven success and doesn't need to be drastically altered, we should be looking to create more leagues to fill out the breaks in between DT (and twl).

I still am wanting to do a Trench Wars Battle Royale with 5 teams and larger games. 9 vs 9 or 10 vs 10 dd/jd and 14 vs 14 bd. (3 sharks, 2 terrs on each team with the wider entrance like has been recently tried in base)

I voted Other. For twdt/twl: Separating base from jav/wb would possibly enable me to play some basing again since it doesnt start at midnight in Fonland. Maybe as an added bonus we could have more teams, roster limits around 10-15 for dt, even lower for twl, recognizing multi-ship potential (easier now with bigger reso limits for wbs).

Integrating other zones like svs, dsb, eg. Maybe we should have a draft that incorporates multiple zones. 1 season would be tw wbs/ tw javs, 4v4 SVS and see who is on the top across all 3.
