Welcome to the Week 3 Overachiever discussion. As there were fewer games this week, we have a tighter selection for Overachiever of the Week. Both of these nominees were key difference makers that led to their teams victory. With the difference between third place and last at only 1 game, single performances like these can make or break a season.
First we have Dak (7.5*), who led Terrorist to their second TWDTJ victory with 16 kills (most of the weekend!) over an understarred Treyway. While it's easy to dismiss Dak's performance as 3 of his opponents were 6.5* or under, Dak showed serious potential by outkilling his higher starred teammates and striking the finishing blow on 3 opponents. Dreamwin's team suffered this week with the loss of 9* jav hypocrit, but Dak's performance shows resiliency in this veteran captains well drafted team.
In base, RaCka tore it up with an astonishing 112-59, 1 TeK. Amazing scores from 7*s like RaCka win leagues. Who'd have thought that one of the best warbirds of all time could translate those skills into spider! To cap off an impressive personal score, Helmet managed to sneak a 4 second victory over a spooky looking Kobe line.
A number of other impressive scores come to mind, like Ekko's 0 deaths in warbird, or Aselsan's courageous coaching of R1p1t1 to their first TWDTJ victory, but only 2 divisions means only 2 nominees. Please vote below, or share who else deserves some recognition!
