Let's be real here: Skat has no idea what he's doing. He drafted one of the worst teams in years and then almost got swindled on a trade that every other captain immediately knew was a bad deal. I respect him for trying, but for fuck sakes, the man legitimately tried to trade a first round pick for a FA with a .5 tax. Even if Iron had said he could show every single week, it would still be a bad trade. What lineup would Skat even have to afford a 10.5* wb to begin with? If he wanted Iron so badly, why didn't he pick Iron in FA since he was available at the time, rather than choosing Bacon?

If Skat is trying to trade Stead I can only assume it's because Steadman is being an extremely toxic teammate like every other season. He just quit on his team in twlj a few month ago so this should be no surprise to anybody.

So, just thought I would weigh in here for what it’s worth (not much).

I’m not trying to get traded or anything and I will show for whoever has me, vio or skat or whoever, but banned from trading is too harsh. People have lied so many times before about showing, not showing, giving bits of information that may be misleading to other caps or makes you not pick them, making people trade them, etc. There was no rule or information in place about being banned from trading beforehand, unless I’m missing something like I was in regards to tiebreakers, sorry ogron! I know you may have some skin in the game because you err involved in the trade and got annoyed, but that’s what ops do.

I like that you are taking this seriously, as it should have been for years, but I think this should be revisited and changed to a warning.

p.s. I don’t want anyone to think I am trying to do anything with this, as vio was trading me to the last place team and I’m still going to show for him or whoever, but in general this is too harsh.

Lol. When I questioned Iron showing in captain chat after Iron originally wrote he couldn't show for 3 weeks and "maybe" after that. Vio freaked out, got super defensive and started saying iron said he is "100% showing". Used "100%" over and over. Not, "he's going to try to show or he'll probably show". Nice try though

that is straight deception. yeah, i can see why one would no longer be allowed to trade after pulling that. that isnt gamesmanship, its just trying to offload a risky FA pick by whatever means necessary.

all you had to do was change the 'can show' to 'will try to show' and you'd have been in the clear. at that point it would have been up to skat to do due diligence and follow up with iron before agreeing to trade. you stated that iron would show each week from then on as a definite.

its ok, i jus learnt that dwopple is biased vs me becuz i annoyed her w/ complaints when she was twl op and wrote a full novel of rules that fkd ofir ripitish w/ multipil transactions, so now she thinks i always complain and am constantly wasting volunteers time

I literally have never complained or bothered a tw op other than dwopple last twl becuz that book she wrote w/ rules and transactions etc was fkd and caused a lot of rostir syndrim on ripitish, its unfortunate that dwopple takes that 1 experience as twl op and holds it against me and assumes im tryink 2 fk ppl over 24/7

Acoording to myself, i said 2 weeks ago that i couldnt show 100% sure next 3 weekends, AND the rest of season was unsure.

When violence pmed me yday i told him i would try to
Fix everything and maybe play BUT i never confirmed i would show.

you put an inaccurate spin on what iron told you in order to benefit you and push the trade through. i dont know if it was bad enough to totally deny you trade privileges from here on out since the trade was killed before any damage was done. but yeah, even if you were allowed to trade, i wouldnt believe anything you said about show rates without proof from the players themselves or a screenshot of them saying it.
