Anyone know what Clash CD 'I Fought The Law' originally came from? (There have been a few cd's released after the band split up by the label such as 'The Essential Clash' but I'm looking for the original album). I've got an idea it might be a b-side as its not in any of the albums listed on amazon.co.uk or epicrecords.com/theclash

It was on the U.S. release of their self titled album, released in 1979, 2 years after the U.K. version of that album. That's probably why you won't find it on the U.K. Amazon site.
And don't thank me, thank:

EDIT: Here's a link for the album on Amazon.

Thanks! I've now got to try and buy it without whatever site I use switching to its .co.uk version whenever I sign in
Edit: If anyone's heard the new Cypress Hill song, Whats Your Number?, the tune is The Guns Of Brixton by The Clash, checkitoutLast edited by ZeUs!!; 03-04-2004, 03:55 PM.Originally posted by Facetiousedit: (Money just PMed me his address so I can go to Houston and fight him)
