Contra is by far the best game on Nintendo. My friend Chris and I played that game every day for about 2 years.

My old nintendo system, still works, and I played 'Contra' just last week with some friends.

I always thought tyson's 'Punch out' was pretty fun too.

If by screwed you mean being a shitty game (that was only put there because one of it's sequels was moderately playable) and pitted against a decent game, then yes, metal gear got screwed.

Untrue, in it's prime, MGS was amazing (even now most stealth/action games don't compare). If you want to hound on the graphics, go get The Twin Snakes; the graphics have been completely revamped.
