  • Shaun of the Dead

    A Romantic Comedy. With Zombies.

Anyone seen this film? I saw it last night and was hilarious all the way through, some parts let me down though when it got a bit emotional. I hate when comedies get all soppy and tearful (but if this film didnt, it wouldnt be a romantic comedy). The ending was a bit shit however, I was expecting a little more laughter, but overall the content was great, a good laugh.

I really want to see that film, I've got series 1 and 2 of Spaced on DVD and I spoke to Simon Pegg and Nick Frost on the radio, they're fucking legends

I saw it last night, I loved it. I liked the ending, a much better ending than the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

PS - So many familiar faces! 2 from the office, 4 from blackbooks, many from spaced.. It's obviously a tight-knit community in British comedy

I went to see the remake of dawn of the dead but felt a bit let down because the trailer for shaun of the dead looked so much better. The film is already quite successful for British cinema and hopefully it will bring about new north London movies as well.

Yeah, seeing as most of our films are imported from the USA, its a refreshing change to see a decent British feature.

Also I like how there are strange goings on in the background all the time.

until 2 days ago I liked the cast of black books apart from Bill Bailey- only cause he's on Never Mind the Buzzcocks but they were great in this film and I saw them in a whole new light, was a great movie and I'm gonna go see it again today!

Never heard of it. Is it a must-see?
I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal...

                Yeah, I reckon so

It's a British film, only released a few days ago, so you'll have to wait
