Wierd..... I thought it was Rockstar games that made all the GTA games....

rockstar and rockstar north are both wholly owned subsidiaries of T2. if you want to break it down, i'm guessing rockstar north are the ones who do the programming and game development, and the rockstar nyc crew are the ones who do the creative production (like the music, commercials, artwork, etc...). but these two companies are just divisions of Take-Two.
