              I would get this one:

              The volvo c70 convertible.

Edit: if money wouldnt count, I would get me a aston martin db9 or the new mclaren. Not that f1 one, but the new one.

That seems really pricey for an old vette. What's special about that one? my dad had a '75 that he sold a few years ago, I think he only got 8 grand for it or something like that.

Matching numbers, fully restored. The car won first price in the "70's cars"-category in Europe's largest old car exibition (in Paris) in 2002 and 2003, and the overall price for most perfect racing Corvette ever somewhere in the US in 2003.

You have to pay 15k for any corvette here though, about 30% of it is tax. I wouldn't buy that specific car if I had the money. I wouldn't dare to drive it in case something happens. And the engine would wear and stuff.

edit: o and it's a stingray. Puts another 5k in the price I think. Here's an american site. He wants 26k for it. http://www.chooseyouritem.com/classi...500/80766.html

I just checked out a couple sites, there's huge differences in the cost of old vettes, I guess real fans know the difference. a '75 vette goes anywhere from 10k to 28k.

my dad's looked just like this one

Personally, I woudln't spend big money on an old car unless I had a billion dollars and just liked collecting them.

LanEvo VIII is a bit over 40k CDN so that IMO is a great deal. Better than its much acclaimed rival, the impreza sti.

I disagree. On paper, they're very close, usually giving the evo the edge, depending on who's doing the test, but when you take into consideration the feel, the look, and the sound, the sti is easily the winner in my book.

Yea well I'm a fan of old cars. There are thousands of new, fast, expensive cars, but I prefer the old ones. Of course I wouldn't buy one for myself just like that.
First I'd need a "normal" car to use daily. Then I might consider buying one as a hobby: fixing it, waxing it like 3 times a week and taking it out for a spin every now and then (you can only drive 30 days a year if you have museum plates in Finland).
