it's good to bring all the fans here, the only problem is that since Portugal is a civilized country, our jails arent big enough to fit all the hooligans in there.

England lost, and well lost, anyone with 2 eyes can perfectly tell that england plays low quality football and doesn't deserve to move forward. No extra time nor penalties should've been required, Portugal was just better.

Now we party, knowing that we can go to clubs after the game without helmets and bullet proof vests. As download said, all the remaining fans are outstanding in every way, and if they or us loose, the fun is still on.

Where 50 % of the swedish population watch our games only 28 % of the english people see or hear england playing... you need to stop thinking England is everything that matters and realise that there are other countries that also care about this game just as much (and even more) than you do.. In fact, as much as 70 % of the dutch people saw the game they played against Germany... You are no way close to those numbers.

Why do you want to start bithing and fighting about all this? the ref maybe didnt to the best of his games (we had him against Italy and he was ok that game) but he was no way near biased and Im 100 % agreeing with him that Terry was acting like a fuckign jerk putting his hand up in the face on the goalie... Campbell would have scored anyways, he shouldnt have been there. This is however only my personal opinion but sure go ahead and flame me... but I somehow understand alot more only by reading these forums why there are alot of fights involving british "supporters" when things doesnt go your way :/

edit: about the supporter and fighting thing, I do realise there is a huge different between arguing on a forum in front of a computer and having a real fight out in the streets, but its the reaction Im talking about..

How are these statistics produced? I know that the pub I watch England games in is absolutly packed but they don't count people who come in so they've no idea how may are in. And I've never been asked in a survey "Do you watch England games?"

At least in Finland there is a group of 7000-ish people, evenly selected from all parts of the country, all ethnic groups etc who every day write up what programs they watch on TV. From a group as large as that you can easily get a good estimate of how many watched the game over all.
Are there really enough pubs in england to fit every single citizen??

If this would be the rule, then from now on with every corner the opposite team would just form a block around the goalie so there's no way he can move around in his box and try to punch the ball clear. I think some of you people need to know the rules a little better before getting all upset. The goalie has to have some protection in his small box, only if it wouldve been out of that box it wouldve been a complete different story because then it's a fair duel for the ball, although I still think Terry is hindering the goalie here so it would've been a freekick either way. Too bad England you almost scored 3 'lucky' goals.

Dude, if you're going from what you're saying then the keeper can just ram the attackers down and get a foul cuz they touched him.. It was Ricardo who jumped in Terry, that makes a difference.
