First of all throw in Baia, who proved he's one of the best goalies in the world atm. Although Ricardo wasn't that bad, he just doesn't have any influence in his defense, unlike Baia.
Portugal has the advantage of being able to play the entire Porto-defense. So why not? Andrade was pretty good though (except don't let him pass) so I'd play him next to Carvalho (one of the best central defenders the world has atm).
Then you can play Costinha and Maniche as more defensive midfielders. Throw Cristiano Ronaldo on the right side (what sadistical bastard would play him on the left?) And then you can choose to play with 1 striker or two. I'd use two. Of course Deco, best player of the CL this year, should be the playmaker. I'd play no one on the left, let Nuno Valenta and Deco use the free space. then I'd play Nuno Gomes and Pauleta or Helder Postiga as strikers. If you want 1 stiker, I'd play Nuno Gomes and then have Figo or Simao on the left. But Figo needs to accept that Deco is the playmaker.
Gj Portugal screwing yourself over with that amazing coach who probably didn't even bother to pay attention to what great players you guys have.
