My wireless mouse is low on batteries, and the cursor tends to slide accross the screen randomly without me touching the mouse, weird...yet highly sexual.

I hate wireless mice, I think theyre crap, they are sometimes unresponsive when you react quickly, e.g. on a FPS.

My normal mouse slides across the screen, the only thing I can think of is a phone signal doing it

IceStorm>wireless mice.. Easier to throw away.

Correction : Easier to throw out the window, also relieves your anger faster, trying to throw out a wired one would be a pain in the ass, unplugging it and all.

Cool, but I bought an expensive wireless keyb/mouse combi from MICROSOFT and it really fucked me up on CS and shit like that.

My optical one is specially designed to work on rough surfaces, it said on an advert for it, I've loved it ever since. purr.

I need an optical mouse that works on shiny surfaces, with my current one I have to use a mousemat. The wirelessness of it is fine, when I move it really fast it kinda jazzes about a bit (making me spin if playing an FPS) but I think that's the opticalness not the wirelessness. The batteries haevn't ran out yet, mainly because it's rechargable.

I "got" a nice optical mouse from my school, Its not wireless but it kicks the shit out of regular mice. It is an ergonomic mouse so it crazy-comfortable, but I would rather have it be wireless. It works really well on various surfaces, but I just use my wooden desk.
Like, there was this ninja who got
ticked off at some people who kept
talking while he was trying to rock
out on his guitar, so the ninja totally
flipped out and sang at them till
                          they all exploded!!! (true story.)

This should be in Tech support but...

Are you using a mouse pad?

well it is normal, the signal that goes to the reciever is not strong enough anymore.. so it gets all wobbely, i have that too when my keyboard is low on batteries, put the reciever closer to the keyboard, and u will find out soon enough when it is totally empty
