Its allowed. Pretty much no way to regulate it here anyway. I dont remember a time when there wasnt talking allowed at night on TW Mafia, but yeah it's always banned on dedicated mafia sites like mafiascum.

Getting close to cutoff time here... I'm going to leave mine on Beast. To me it would be scummy to suddenly switch to sdrawcaB as Beast is the one I'm most concerned about.
I don't think that my vote affects Exalt's status in any way though.

This should be the lynch imo, since at least 3 of us find him suspicious. Also, Jessup wont look at him at all, which makes me even more confident in voting him. Most here have given reservations about Beast, so then move your vote?

The timeframe of Beast's silence is now even longer. Add to that and all around feeling of desperation when votes showed up on him. Some have said I'm town, and others have said I seem scummy. I'm not concerned, because I'm part of the town. Do you get that vibe from me, the_paul?

I am, however, willing to listen to reason from Beast if he gets on before the cutoff time. Everyone should be allowed to defend themselves.

That was a solid post, thanks for re-quoting it for me. Beast has said some weird stuff, I'll give you that. I would be surprised if he was scum given how active he was at the beginning. I don't pay much attention to his claim of not having an action. If he said "I am the supply coordinator and I have a very important role", then he would most likely get railroaded into a full claim. So claiming vanilla townie is par for the course. He definitely made some interesting statements that don't strike me as being town, like when he said "Willby wouldn't make same people mafia 2 games in a row". I'm 99.9% sure Willby assigns role by RNG, so that statement seems extra desperate to gain credibility. He then says he has a list of people that are 100% town, no matter what, on day 1, which is.. interesting. The worst one is when he said "only vanilla townies have a name and occupation". That really made no sense to me. Scummy? Maybe, I could see making a case for that. It struck me as desperately trying to get involved in real time, but it hasn't aged particularly well. My vote is on him anyway, for better or for worse.

As for you, I don't have any read. I haven't played a mafia game with you in at least 8 years probably, and most likely more, so we'll see where we go from here

• First he said he has a powerful role that he dares not name.
• Then he said he's "also a coordinator" which I understood as he's helped to run a Mafia game before. I had misinterpreted that as he then said he's a "Supply Coordinator" as a job on the ship. It reeks of fishiness. Why not say the shipboard job upfront?
• When he was getting votes for lynch, he then volunteered to be the sacrificial lamb and said he has no special role. Scum identified.

Beast for me gives me flashbacks to a bad move by another new player that I clearly said wasn’t mafia but nobody was listening to me...I forgot his name but that’s not the point. Would he make such blatant conclusions right off the bat if he was mafia party? It’s possible for third like a jester maybe, but if he is flipped and is mafia consider everything I said bullshit.

Sheesh, people griping about MIA. I'm working from home too. I'm not going to clock out to check spaceship forums. My shift is over now so I should be more readily available.
Just slogged through all the posts since my last one. Interesting turn of events.

Re:: Paul for the ordered list of active players I posted. That wasn't an exhaustive list, just the players I noticed not posting very much at all over yesterday. I was, in effect, saying Exalt is not one of our concerns at the time because if we are trying to get rid of inactives there are others who are more inactive. Now it's clear we shouldn't kill off any inactives because they could be town power roles and subs may be gotten for them.

Exalt I wasn't given a backstory, just a first name and job on the ship, followed by my role. For now I am inclined to believe Exalt may not be scum, even if he isn't willing to say the same of me.

Beast again, still oddly silent after my last post this morning. Maybe he has a day job too. Imagine that. Well, I'm willing to hear any retorts from him until our 2:05P PDT phase change. Until then, he's still the most suspicious of everyone to me. Also eyeing sdrawcab for his shady behavior and the_paul for sticking up for Beast.

Got it on the first part, I was just checking. As for the second part, you consider Beast to be suspicious? I don't particularly get that read on him, I voted for him out of necessity, but you seem to be saying you have the opposite opinion.
