Sheesh, people griping about MIA. I'm working from home too. I'm not going to clock out to check spaceship forums. My shift is over now so I should be more readily available.
Just slogged through all the posts since my last one. Interesting turn of events.

Re:: Paul for the ordered list of active players I posted. That wasn't an exhaustive list, just the players I noticed not posting very much at all over yesterday. I was, in effect, saying Exalt is not one of our concerns at the time because if we are trying to get rid of inactives there are others who are more inactive. Now it's clear we shouldn't kill off any inactives because they could be town power roles and subs may be gotten for them.

Exalt I wasn't given a backstory, just a first name and job on the ship, followed by my role. For now I am inclined to believe Exalt may not be scum, even if he isn't willing to say the same of me.

Beast again, still oddly silent after my last post this morning. Maybe he has a day job too. Imagine that. Well, I'm willing to hear any retorts from him until our 2:05P PDT phase change. Until then, he's still the most suspicious of everyone to me. Also eyeing sdrawcab for his shady behavior and the_paul for sticking up for Beast.

I'm pretty sure beast is town, bcuz scum dont usually word vomit all over the thread saying the dumb stuff beast did when they can just be like backwards and say nothing all game until they vote at deadline, then disappear again. Or that Kassius guy who I didnt know was in the game until Jessup VSed him, with no response from Kassius.

Some people like Paul or Voth can get away with being really active as scum because they're good at it, but Beast doesn't strike me as the type to take that risk, because it absolutely is a risk. It can backfire in a heartbeat, so most people dont do it. It's just adding unnecessary challenge to the role when you can get away with the bare minimum and go unnoticed 90% of the game.

So I dont want to vote him personally. Not sure if theres an alternative though if most people arent here to switch votes.

Just going to respond to this, because it's entirely untrue lol, read the thread. Jessup backs down and unvotes me when I explain myself. Seems a desperate attempt to sow suspicion and hope people don't actually read what happened in order to deflect from the focus on you.

Well, I have a basic role as staff on the ship like EVERYONE else. For this plan to work we need to stop mafia from getting him tonight and town has to go all in then to protect him another time just to get a result and proof he is telling the truth. It's a VERY risky move that could easily by BS. I honestly am not trusting this but of course he checkmates with the "I'm a townie who magically turns cop after 2 deaths" line.

Now mafia or cult knows exactly what he is and how to fuck us. He could even be called shadow because he is case 0 covid or something. Why wud cop be this weird special role as he claims? My gut is telling me to be concerned sigh..but at same time now dont wanna see this nonsense claim be true lol .

True, by being pressed to claim you can make the argument that Exalt is essentially worthless. But, assuming he is telling the truth, it could mean the difference between a day 1 lynch and forcing a roleblock or a kill on him. It's a small victory I guess. I'd rather be on the side that doesn't lynch a claimed cop day 1 on the hope that he is lying. But you are correct to not feel great about, you'd be insane to be 100% convinced of the claim.

I was making bread. What is vote count now? Exalt in the clear right? If cop prob shud not get him out lol. I can never tell though when this guy lies. 2 deaths before being cop seems... odd to say the least. Codename Shadow.. wtf?? I'm glad some of you can be like ya this makes total sense but um.. rofl.. Obviously if he is a cop like he says we save but also any scum wud make such a claim b4 facing the rope. I don't get how this reveal of his makes much sense.. no backstory to being paranoid freak who had some codename?

2 deaths is like.. one day/night phase if scum get their NK off, so essentially Night 2 is my first investigation. Not that I expect to live that long.

I made and stuck with the decision because we can look into Exalt and see if his claim holds water going forward, but we can't unkill a cop. You jogged my memory since there are some new people in the game, allow me to make the following statement:

If you are town cop, it is tempting to counter claim and expose Exalt if he is lying. Please do not do this now. You will be committing suicide day 1.

If Exalt is lying, we will know. Especially since we have a timeline on when we can expect results from him. I'm not saying his role claim is waterproof and makes 1000% sense. It is certainly... different. But it would take an impressive amount of foresight to change his avatar and play a role and come up with a fake claim on the fly, all to be ready for day 1. I don't know who the right answer is on who to lynch, but Exalt is the wrong answer today imo.

Seems like I'm stuck here. If I unvote Beast, I could end up being responsible for a double lynch of Exalt and Beast (no idea what VC is atm), and that will ruin the game. If I stick with my vote, I'm going to be on the wagon that lynches someone who I believe is a townie. I need to just go afk during the day like the other 60% of the players.

I don't really want to vote Beast either but when I changed my vote it would of created a double-lynch tie. Even now if I switch to abstain it's a tie (I think?). So... I don't really know what other option I have.

Really tempted to vote Voth for that vague fadeaway he threw out about me, but he did stick his neck out for Exalt and seems to be correct (for no, assuming Exalt is telling the truth). This Beast wagon feels all wrong to me, even though I'm on it at the moment
