There's something they're not telling us. You can see the mistrust of others in the eyes of everyone around- crew and passengers. Trapped at sea, no contact with the outside world for fear of "spreading the disease". What disease? People are as healthy as ever. They're partying, socializing, eating like normal. Why doesnt the government want us back seaside? 17 days into our 5 day tour aboard the "Leviathan" and I've about had enough. I want some answers.



A distinct bang is not quite masked by the music. Several staff members and I rushed into a restricted area and saw only him lying there, no gun or shooter to be found. While the staff tried to shove me back out of the helm, I did see enough to identify him: WillBy, Captain of the Leviathan, is dead. It is unclear who is in charge now...


Begin Day 1

Ok so wondering about this opening paragraph and it appears once again to be narrated by someone in the first person who is playing the game with us. As per usual in willby games which I love. So far Exalt has gone on and on about government conspiracies and aliens and it almost seems like it is forced or like a condition to his game role. It sortof fits this narrative so I wonder if this is part of his roll. This is why I don't want to vote for exalt.

On the other hand we have had Voth explain he has a part of his role description that seemed obtuse to him so he could also be this person too or somehow have fiit into the narrative which is making me sort of trust Voth. Maybe he has a read on Exalt, he has showed some concern.

Who is this first person talking in this opening paragraph? Are they friend or foe? They are NOT staff it appears by how I read this. Definition of staff so we do not get confused is -"

all the people employed by a particular organization."

Also if this is Covid-19. I think we may start having to worry about CULT type gameplay where people get recruited/infected. There may be no mafia even..

Exalt seems very unstable to me, sounds like he's the type of passenger that you just cringe at the thought of cleaning their stateroom.

Noon central daylight time (2 hours, 40 minutes from now). I'm on lunch then, so itll happen during that hour. I cant give a hard deadline, as phase changes are time consuming work, especially if people are changing around votes.

I feel like this is also a good opportunity to remind people of our special rules.

Ties will result result in double lynches. The first two players to reach the tie will be lynched. At the moment that looks like beast and jessup (due to ixt unvoting- I typically dont count unvotes, but will consider it in this case).

I do allow vote abstains on day 1, for those who dont want a day 1 lynch. If abstain wins over 50% (7 players, +- 2 for inactives), we will move into night without a lynch.

What an absolute shitshow. I'll have to read back through this after the vote count is updated, but a lot of these "arguments" have seemed extremely forced. A lot of calling someone out, arguing with them, you each vote for each other, and then just as quickly both votes are changed. I'd be willing to bet that at least 1 of these interactions is just posturing for later in the game. As it is, I don't have a single clue who could possibly be leading in votes at this point. Good luck sorting through this Willby.

Theme will be a cruise in isolation due to disease, circa 1996. Who can stand being around so many of the same people, day after day? Players will be staff members aboard the crew trying to keep everyone happy and apart from the world.

First of all, it's either feast or famine with you guys. The last two games were like pulling teeth to get anyone to post, now we're 9 pages deep on the first day phase and I am admittedly confused about half of what's going on in this thread.

I did, however, remember Willby's explanation of the game in the sign-up thread and then ran across Exalt posting that he's "just a passenger," which doesn't seem to fit in with the rules/theme of the game. At best I'm thinking Exalt is some third-party (with an insane angle since he does love to role play), at worst I'm thinking he's mafia. And, from my experience, third party roles are either neutral or anti-town (ie: survivor), so I'm voting for him.

The rest of this noise seems to be semantic fighting, although Beast's roleclaim does seem a little sus.

Just something to throw out there so I can circle back to it if needed. Exalt threw out a vote with no reasoning provided on Jessup shortly after I did and has pretty much not even acknowledged anything I've said all game or called out any of the wild bullshit people are spewing from all angles. Not like him and could point to a scum or third party alignment trying to fly under the radar. Town Exalt is a lot more direct and forceful, even on Day 1. What's up Exalt?

I'm just trying to be up front day 1 which seems to be making me a target. I'm willing to accept that focus for towns purposes in game if it can maybe expose some cracks and help. I see no reason at all why mafia would target you a new player focusing on things like votes for halp because he posted b4 reading role way early in joking manner and then voting for beast because he reveals info and then me for trying my best to get town dialog going to expose mafia.. srsly u seeming fishy as fk atm suddenly and its not just because of this last vote on me ur 3rd switcheroo. Switcheroo? I'll change my vote 99 times a day if there's 99 pieces of information, there's very little to go on right now to prove townie membership. Scum can trip up and reveal what they know.

Also, the mere act of voting someone and seeing their reaction can potentially provide information. Got nothing out of Halp or Beast, but got a nice response from you.

Answer me this, if I was scum, why would I vote Halp, see him rise to top of vote charts, then steer it away to either Beast or yourself who were both not leading? It makes no sense. If anything, I'd have pushed the Halp agenda and tried to cement his lynching.
