LOL GG. Unreal 3 mafia won this after the start ko'ing me and backwards. I believed Exalts claim he was town.. wasn't sure about the cop claim but needed to cast doubt on any perceived power role claim early on that there was. I sort of skimmed rest of game. MAfia layed low. Town never really came out of their shell to trust which hurt. Tricky though I know. GG all.
PS why you ruin my serial killer fun?? never had role like that b4 lol
Found this post wanted to share it. Voth sux dix, Paul is bad person probably, sdrawkab is nobody on reddit, and kthx is mathematically flatheaded and probably wears pink on Wednesdays. Paul eats bags of dicks and never really gets too full to try another flavor if presentation is on point. Some of the new/oldnew dudes played pretty well, and exalt is starting to show some promise as a potentially decent player with a little more experience. Thanks for host willby, u sick twisted fuk.
Thanks Willby for hosting this, I've never participated in anything like it. Equally enjoyable and frustrating, I made some mistakes which damaged my credibility, but I think I did OK. Happy to have been the only one to have left a vote on Hook and spotting Jessup was a bit suspect :-) Seriously though, there was so much infighting that Mafia just sailed underneath us, and I think I began to see what was happening when I voted Hook.
Looking forward to the next one, what an intro lol.
GG Paul. Hook really didn't post much but I guess he still played some good chess.
GG Everyone, thanks for entertaining a newb. Thanks WillBy for hosting.
Yeah Edify you're right, I didn't post a whole lot. A lot of sifting back and forth through posts, and half the time someone had already said what I had said and I thought it would look scummy to repeat. I guess I said enough to keep me alive though Paul and I did have a lot of discussion behind the scenes. Boy did we get lucky with Jessup on N1.
Learned a lot from this game, but I've still got a lot to learn.
GG Paul. Hook really didn't post much but I guess he still played some good chess.
GG Kassius too, really good playing for your first game.
Thank you Willby for hosting.
Bad game literally everyone else, Voth especially. PartyFalcon with his deranged post like anyone was going to figure that out and then rolecclaiming as the phase is ending. Edify for basically blindly following Voth, how is "I wanted to vote as a bloc" a smart way to play mafia? Think for yourself. Halp afk half the game. Beast barely tried to defend herself while Voth railroading her. Ixt not protecting me after I roleclaimed. Towns inability to lynch Paul. Was overall a very frustrating game.
I can't even right now. The fact that it was all a colossal mistake on Paul's part that turned out amazing is just unreal to me. I was unwilling to accept that a team with Paul on it would think the best play is to lynch their own role blocker Day 1. More to come later. Sorry for bitching this one I guess, but I have no idea how anyone thinks it's more likely that scum did that day 1 than willby had a ninja in the game. Crazy.
Thanks for the host WillBy it was a fun albeit frustrating game for me towards the end, I knew TP was guilty but was honestly at a loss in Voth and Edify given their voting ok n me consistently. Looking forward to the next one ixt
Reading back through the first PMs in scum chat, Voth is actually the one who forced my hand into voting backwards. This fucking asshole had 2/3 of the scum team called out on day 1, literally right off the bat. You can criticize him for not lynching me later on, probably fair, but he's the one who made the game such insanity for us from the start.
PM to scumchat right before night 1 actions were submitted: "This has definitely been a weird game. Can't say I've ever lynched my own roleblocked day 1 on purpose. Having 2 of the 3 of us in the crosshairs on day 1 is definitely not ideal. We're definitely going to have to think outside of the box from here on out. Theres a very good chance that you end up winning this for us. If it comes to it, please do not hesitate to bury me. If one of us wins, we all win. I have no clue how Voth got us both, I'm just going to try to buy time from here on out."
Also, for anyone wondering how it worked on the mafia team without having a godfather, it actually went pretty smoothly. Given that I spent every day phase thinking I was going to die, I spammed up scum chat with every scenario I could think of, and what actions I thought town power roles would do every night after they had to claim. I'll have to go back and check, but I'm fairly certain that Hookecho made the decision on every night action we performed. Part of that was to try to throw people off my scent, and a large part of that was because I spent the whole game being positive I was the next death. I actually think I made a "good luck Hooke, sry backwards" post at least 4 or 5 times throughout the game.
Kassius deserves a ton of credit for how well he played in his first game, which turned out to be a clusterfuck. But Hookecho deserves at least as much credit for absolutely killing it in his first game, even though most of his work was behind the scenes.
If you're not being sarcastic, thank you. Otherwise I felt I played pretty poorly and got flustered by illogical role combinations to make TP feel innocent. He really did put on his innocence pretty well, I was convinced.
Another crazy thing was the amount of roleclaims that were legit all true. Only one person claimed to be something that he wasn't, which was the_paul. Everyone else was who they said they were. We lynched them anyway.
I am shocked that everybody told the truth (except me ofc). I was worried that kthx would get lynched, and somebody like halp who I never saw explicitly claim would have some secret ability that would fuck us and we'd still lose.
WillBy, thank you for hosting. With all of the vote changing and me spamming up scum chat, it couldn't have been easy. Exploiting the flavor seemed kind of dirty, but in my defense I was trying to emphasize that reading too much into flavor text doesn't lead to anywhere except confusion. I had a blast, I thought you were a dick for a 3 person mafia team with what seemed like 9000 town power roles, but it worked. I wonder how chaotic the game would have been if we hadn't killed Jessup night 1, as Hooke suggested we do
Very impressive stuff going kthx over paulie omegalul. Next level stuff. Btw it’s Hooke and paulie d fyi
Before anyone thinks ixt has figured it out, I did share it with him and a lot of the dead people. They got to watch your mistakes just like I did. Thank you dead people for being dead and not talking.
My MVP for town is edify as of later rounds he made all the right calls and assumptions that a townie perspective should have made.

I guess I'll start by thanking you all for playing, I really enjoy watching you collectively figure out how to do things I never expected possible. It's always fresh watching people learn to not trust each other, while blindly sticking to their own beliefs.
Let's look first at the setup.
As you all know, the setup for this game was people on board a cruise ship stuck at sea during quarantine. This gave us a good mafia situation- people stuck together with no contact with the outside world. Our scum team wanted to take the ship back to port, and were willing to kill the captain and 9 of their shipmates to get it done. And your scum team was:
The_paul- 1 shot strongman
sdrawkcab- even night role blocker
Hookecho- framer.
The strongman and roleblocker were as close to a counter for the commuter as I could give, but they didnt end up needing it. I took a risk here with no godfather, but it worked well with the framer. I personally love the role as framer, as it is a niche utility role but it can partially break broken town combos like follow-the-cop. It also let's me make strange setups like 3 investigative roles in the same game. Our townie power roles were:
Kassius- odd night role blocker
ixt- bodyguard
Vehicle- watcher
exalt- cop*
PartyFalcon- weaponsmith (do they have a weapon? Kind)
kthx- commuter
With my more recent games, I've grown wary of roleblockers. They make resolving night actions difficult. That's why I made it even/odd. The three investigative roles were also somewhat neutered. Exalt couldnt instigate N1, and had a framer. PF couldnt trust results because it just means they have a weapon. And vehicle wasnt explicitly given an order that people appeared, though you can probably figure it out. The commuter was honestly an afterthought, but have me an excuse to flesh out the mafia roles a bit (changed godfather to strongman).
So what went well? People jumped into this theme, which I like because it forces early conversation. From there, everything went a bit crazy. After losing the roleblocker and the balancing act serial killer (Jessup), I thought town had this cleaned up. Unfortunately, losing all the investigative powers so quickly cut a hole in towns information pool. That being said, a perfect timed investigation from vehicle should have resulted in a the_paul lynch. Except for one little thing- the flavor.
What went poorly? People were grasping here. With some arguments. Exalt must be scum because what he claimed doesnt mesh well with something I said in the signup thread? And the flavor got a bit confusing, I'll take the blame for this. Paul's 1shot strongman was poison (because he was a chef), but some people understandably read this as the mafia role poisoner. The scum team pushed this HARD once town had tasted the bait. Then with Vehicle's night kill, I forgot to include the gunshot sound, which made it seem like he'd been poisoned too, which wasnt right. Finally, people just didnt know what to expect with my setup, which is understandable I guess...
Let's take about the misplays you all made:
paul lynched his roleblocker, who I'm pretty sure was the previous game MVP d1. It ended up well, but damn. Cold.
Town in general forced a roleclaim from their cop day 1. Lol
Town forced role claims from their other two investigative roles.
Kassius and ixt gave away their roles without any pressure. Notice how there were 4 VTs at the beginning, and 3 left at the end? You gotta keep that shit secret or surprise surprise, they'll night kill you (or make your claim look like BS).
Vehicle, you should probably have come forth with your results on T_P instantly. This might've led to different results.
Voth, you got played lol.
Let's talk about what you all did well!
Mafia played great, given that they bussed their rber d1
ixt made the right protection call N2, unfortunate that it was telegraphed
vehicle had the perfect watcher targets in his 2 nights alive. And when he wrote his own death story, lol
Our newcomers. Kassius and Hookecho both played quite well. They weren't bullied by more veteran players into misplays, and they will thrive when they get more experience.
The game ended pretty balanced, which I'm always happy with. If town had lynched paul instead, this could've gotten really close.
That's all my thoughts for now. Do you have any questions? I'm an open book
