The scarlet vote was suspicious but scarlet was pressing vehicle strongly. The day phase was a shit ton of work so it is possible vehicle took a plunge on his own to go after the loud mouthed scarlet rofl. But it is scummy as crap in the final analysis that vehicle alone was the one who tipped the scales and mad scarlet die.

Vehicle is a NOVICE rolecop who claimed 2 nights had to pass before he could get any results. This could explain why he didn't share any info yet.

I will also note that I think the way vehicle has been acting today since I've accused him has been scummy. He has not addressed me directly and he has not provided any helpful analysis or scum hunting this game at all. Contrast that with last game, where vehicle was town psychic (another investigative role)--vehicle waited to claim until he had actionable information, and he knew he'd be killed as a result--this game vehicle has fully role claimed day 3 with no actionable results and no solid offer for how he can prove himself useful to town if left alive.

Vehicle's real role claim last game was complete, useful, at the appropriate time, and his defense of himself and hunt for scum was thorough and respectable.
Vehicle's role claim this game was haphazard, not useful, IMO not at the appropriate time (neck was not yet truly in noose and he had no actionable results), and his defense of himself has been nonspecific and generally lackluster- 2/5.

Vehicle is scum.

Hold onto your butts! I went back to day one, and have come to the conclusion once again that the correct lynch today is vehicle. Below are my notes from this endeavor; I've provided post numbers for what specifically I'm referencing, I highly recommend that you go see for yourself if you think I'm mischaracterizing (I have tried to be objective). To be fair, I do also think kthx is quite likely scum too so I again don't think there's a big wrong answer between the two of them this phase--but I think vehicle is the better lynch.

For anyone who’s forgotten:

• Day 1 we killed Scarlet— (#437)
  • Vehicle had been voting for Scarlet, then switched off of Scarlet onto kthx
    • Voth noted that the fact that vehicle had switched off of Scarlet was “not kosher” (#416)
  • then within minutes of phase change, vehicle hammered Scarlet (what voth seemed to have anticipated) (#429)
  • Exalt expressed extreme suspicion at vehicle’s alignment for this, as well as other aspects of vehicle’s play D1
    • See, e.g.:
      • #456 where (after Vehicle hammered Scarlet) Exalt predicts a Willby vehicle scum team
      • #356 where (before Vehicle hammered Scarlet) Exalt quotes Willby defending Vehicle, and Exalt accuses Vehicle of being scummy
• Vehicle even then posted a “if I don’t die tonight people will be hounding me tomorrow so I want to come out in front of these suspicions” post (#468)
  • In this post, Vehicle says part of why he hammered Scarlet is because Vehicle knows what his own role is (suggesting that Vehicle’s role made him not believe Scarlet’s claim—I’ve gone back through most of day 1 and I really can’t figure out a way where this makes sense as a thing for Vehicle to say, given that Vehicle has now claimed his role to be a novice bitter rolecop? Nothing Scarlet had claimed to be at the time of Vehicle's hammer in any way seems precluded by Vehicle's role)

Can someone elaborate on the ascetic thing? I've never actually seen it as far as I remember. If I were to follow Kthx, would I get an unsuccessful result? Is it like a commuter? Don't have time to read through 30 pages of mafia scum wiki trying to find the answer out of the 30000 roles to have ever existed

It is a passive ability that makes results as if the person making them have been roleblocked. Kill actions if performed are not blocked.

I protected you night one because you were the only confirmed town, I protected beast because he seemed just off the radar enough that a smart mafia might target him to avoid being watched/protected which I was obviously wrong about.
