Bass guitar players of TW

I just bought an Ibanez bass guitar yesterday night, Its fairly easy to play since I have been playing the non-bass guitar for over a year. the problem is that I cant remember any songs with good bass parts to them, so tell me some, now.

You want good bassists. Red Hot chili pepers is good. Find a guy name Stanley Clarke I have 5 of his cds he doesnt play anymore one of the best Ive ever seen. Weather Report had some good bass songs. Then if you really want to master bass got to learn funk. Parliament, George Clinton is good for funk. Then The strokes can teach you pretty much teach u the basics.
