So I went to the concert tonight (Modest Mouse) and it was awesome... for the 45 minutes they played. The story they gave us was their flight got delayed and that's why they weren't able to start until 11:15 when it was supposed to start at 8:00, doors opened at 7:00. I don't know though... they had an extra opening band show up that wasn't listed and which drove all night the night before from Canada, seems to me like they knew they wouldn't be there on time. Anyway they stopped exactly at midnight, I'm assumming that was probably the agreement with the place, it was an indoor hockey rink they were using for the concert. So anyway it might not have been totally Modest Mouse's fault, but damn it I want my money back. Still the concert was fantastic for the brief period it lasted.

And yeah there were a lot of 16 year old kids. The best part of the concert though was when the guy from the radio station 105.9 the X (In Pittsburgh) came on to introduce the opening band. They're like an MTV type clear channel rock radio station that plays all that crap rock like hoobastank and all those shitty bands but also plays float on by modest mouse and promoted the concert. As soon as the guy announced he was from the X he was booed nonstop. Some people even threw stuff at him, heh.
