Blood + eyes

Well, I was just looking myself in the mirror and saw many "blood stains" in my eye, in the other eye I had more then in the other (funny and inccorrect sentence! )...

I was just wonderinmg if there are someone who know what makes this to happend?

Might it be tiredness? You have rubbed you eyes little too much and too hard? , you have been sitting too much infront of the computer?

You have veins in your eyes, some people's are more prominent than others. Looking in a mirror, you should be able to see them.

There are several factors that can make your eyes appear bloodshot (i.e. the veins are even more visible than normal)

Stress
Tiredness
Irritation (Cold, hayfever, something in your eye, rubbing your eye etc)
Drunk / Hungover
Sometimes it can appear without any apparent reason

I don't want to cause any alarm, but it's hard to tell from your description: make sure that your eyes are indeed bloodshot and that you don't have pink eye which is much worse.

Its alright now, I suppose it was just tempoary.. But I did get something into my eye before that, and rubbed it like.. So I suppose it was tiredness and the rubbing causing the lagre ammont of blood in my eyes. Thanks for the info ewan! And all others that replyied!
