As for WoW,
I really don't know much about it, but as I said i would play it if it wasn't a pay to play game I would play it. The reason I presume I said, no visa or that kind of stuff. And that you need some commitment to the game if you are to play. As for FFXI, I have heard that in hiigher levels you need more then 4 to 5 hours to get anything done, depening on luck finding a part or so. I really feel bad about me going all nuts about the game, reading several of hours guides how to be a good thief adn etc. And now when I don't indend to play, all goes in vain. (Since I have no Visa or what-so-ever) And on top of that the game costs here in Finland around 80 € thats about well umm 76-83 $, not only do I haft pay that, but also the time to play. Well the price for me would be around 12€, and that aint much a month. But still no VISA.. :P

So.. a MOG is fun, but it takes alot of your time and money.

I know what you mean about FFXI, I played a thief for 30 levels, whm for 21 levels, Ranger for 20, Warrior for 21, Blm for 18, and I think Rdm for 10. I really enjoyed Ranger, but the time it took to farm (aka afford your gear) greatly outweighed the time spent in good parties. Aka parties where I didn't lose exp and/or level down. Another bad thing is that when I played, everyone bitched about how you had to get thief up to a decent level if you even wanted to think about playing ranger long term. So I get thief up to 30 (hated it) and bam, I run into a brick wall of mind numbing hours of boring farming to join an XP party for maybe 30 mins of good leveling. It sucked ass. That and I didn't stick to one job, so I got burnt out on the game in that regard as well.

I decided to go Night Elf Warrior (the only viable tanks ATM apparently) until they fix Paladins, then I might make a Dwarf Pallie character. I really just want to pick a class and see how far I can take it. I did the whole Priest thing with Whm in FFXI, and I loved being a Warrior a whole lot more. Plus I just want to tank. But I digress- WoW doesn't rely on groups for good EXP. You can solo alot (through quests and other stuff I assume) so you don't have to worry about partying with dicks all the time. I'm sure you are loving T.V. right now, but I just thought I'd give you some more feedback on WoW.

I would like to play WoW, for sure, it seems better then FFXI. And I really loved playing WC3:reign of chaos and the additional part Frozen throne. I remember myself saying: "Frostmorn hungers!". Still say it sometimes.. Night elves was one of my favs. I also thought that it was cool (don't remeber his name, but he said a lot weird stuff like "anudora") Made tree come to live, what are they called, treeants? I have no idea.. Seen some screenies of WoW, and I thought about 1-2 years ago first time I saw it, that this is a game I want to play.

I'm sure I wouldn't be a fighter if I playied.. I more like to be assasin like, long-range attacker, or some badass mage.

I've found mining better for making cash, same with herbalism or any kind of gathering skill. I'm sure it will change when the game goes open, with more people looking for items and resouces being taken up quickly.


It will cost around 12-15 $ to play not including the retail box value. Closed beta is still going on but blizzard said open is comming soon. I'm sure it will be before X-Mas, trying to rush it...

Warriors have a lot of abilities which allow them to tank, not that they're the only class that could handle the damage but it's their abilities that makes it so they can incite and manage it. There are smaller Ancient Protectors in Darnassus, I'll post some screen shots later .
