Hey, i was wondering if any of you homies know of any hip hop bands that sound like hieroglyphics or deltron 3030. What cd's of them are the best that i should get?

Those two groups are very unique, I haven't found anything myself, I'd like to know as well.

If you want some more Del though, Gorillaz has Del the Funkee Homosapien doing the rap rhymes.

This last two I'll mention aren't really related to Deltron 3030 at all with the exception of the production. The Deltron beats are some of the best i've ever heard due to the awesome production by Dan The Automator. Dan also produced Dr. Octagon's album.

Two albums:

Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
El P - Fantastic Damage

They aren't the best lyricists in the world, but the beats on these albums are incredibly unique/good. El P raps on his album, but he's the one who produced Cannibal Ox's stuff...he also did a lot of the beats on the Murs album I mentioned up there, also.

EDIT: Mf doom and Madlib : Madvillain it's really good, a lot of old jazz influences, do yourself a favor and buy it, don't download it :up:

uhm, you may like Quasimoto : The Unseen who's basically this guy (Madlib) who raps while he's inhaling helium over jazzy beats. Maybe you'll like it

Yeah, also try Dr. Octagon, and anything by El-P: including Fantastic Damage, and his group Company Flow
