My friend told me this morning that at a public speech Bush was putting on, anyone wearing any piece of Kerry memorabilia would not be allowed in. How retarded is this? If the rally is being paid for by tax payers and is public, what right does the Republican party have to exclude people from it? Besides that, wouldn't they want to sway people leaning towards Kerry anyway? All the Republicans at the convention are probably voting for Bush anyway, so what's the point? How stupid.

It's way more extreme than that. to get into a Bush rally you basically needed to have worked on the Bush campaign or know someone. They don't take any chances of any haters getting in.
